Overall, this is a good house in a great location for Tamarindo. We all agreed we would rent it again for any future trips to Tamarindo. The layout is great for four separate couples. The host team is very responsive, which is great. And the cleaning crew was good. A couple of challenges with the house, mainly that maintenance was not great and had to visit several times. We lost power to various parts of the house, which had us poking around at rusty breaker boxes outside in the dark. For some reason, both the large refrigerator and large freezer both failed at the same time apparently due to a power issue. We lost all of our food, and they ended up bringing in a smaller replacement refrigerator. Also, the garage door stopped working, and they couldn't fix it. We had our golf carts locked in the garage, and we couldn't use them for a while. I'd say the biggest issue with the house, which seems like a very easy fix for them is that only the main bedroom has a king. The other three are "full" beds, which are even smaller than queens. Really not big enough for two people, and certainly not luxurious or roomy in any way. All bedrooms could fit a king. You guys should really swap those out. It would make the house truly accommodate 8 people. Definitely "good enough" from a Tamarindo perspective. But when you're paying pretty much the highest price in the area for a VRBO, it could definitely be better maintained.

We didn’t want to leave Casa Sirena

We have stayed in several luxury villas over the years, and this place is my favorite so far. The layout is well thought out, without any of the negative quirks often found in larger places like bedroom-size disparity and maze-like designs. The decor was a nice mix of local and Asian art. The koi pond was just wow, without giving any spoilers, I’ll just say this was not your average koi pond. The kids will always remember it. The location was great, in a quiet area of rentals and condos, street-to-beach, with a little pathway leading directly to Playa Langosta. The sunsets over the beach (which could be watched from the actual beach or from our private patio) were one of my favorite parts of the trip. The beach itself is very nice. While the area directly in front of the house is a rocky tide pool area, there’s a large area of quiet sandy beach close by. The kids loved exploring the tide pools every morning. We had a few minor questions about the place on check-in day, and the management was responsive and helpful. While not a new villa, we found it to be well maintained, with great gardens and foliage. There was a gardener there most days keeping everything looking nice. It was clear that the owners and management care very much about keeping the place nice.

Great location - relaxed vibe - as advertised

Great setup, suite style living with koi ponds leading you to common area. Best room in the house is the pool area- proximity to Pacific huge plus - would stay again in a minute!!

Great property

Fantastic property that was true to listing. Had a few questions once we arrived and management quickly responded to all our needs. Beach was a short walk from the house and the golf cart was helpful for quick trips into town for anything we needed. It was also convenient to have ability to utilize the beach club when we wanted to spend the day at the beach. We really enjoyed being at the house using the pool and the outside area.

Beautiful home with amazing management

This home is beautiful and unique. Each bedroom offered guests privacy. The staff at RPM truly goes above and beyond to ensure a wonderful vacation. We used them to book grocery delivery, excursions, golf carts and Chef Christian. All were wonderful and seamless! This location is just far enough from town to be quiet but close enough to explore. A five minute beach walk south takes you to a great surfing location! Our adult children and two teens really loved it!

Beautiful Stay!!!

The house is beautiful. The pictures were very. True to its beauty. We enjoyed the location and enjoyed our golf carts which we used to go into Tamarindo. Lola was very pleasant to work with, and helped us with our adventures. We enjoyed her chef recommendation Luis!! Best meals ever we used them for two dinners and one breakfast.

Casa Sirena-Play Langosta-Tamarindo

All I can say about this property and the management group is, WOW! Upon booking the house, Lola (Tropical Vacations By RPM), was nothing short of spectacular. She assisted me in every way possible for the weekend getaway that we had, helping set up groceries, excursions, directions, transportation and everything in between. The house itself is out of a movie. Perfectly located, extremely clean and tranquil, wonderfully set up for numerous couples or 6+ guests. I would love to give this entire experience MORE THAN 5 stars. THANK YOU LOLA and Tropical Vacations by RPM for making our trip so memorable!

Great Location

This is our 5th trip to Costa Rica and we stayed at this property for almost a week. The property is beautiful and relaxing and very well stocked. The house was very clean and the welcome gift was very thoughtful. The location is awesome. There a few great restaurants within a 5 min walking distance as well as a grocery store and downtown is about a 20 min walk. We saw Monkeys and huge Iguanas around the property. We rented a car but it was a waste of money. There was no need to leave the property. We had our two kids with us ages 4 and 8. The main house has the master bedroom, kitchen, and living room so the kids slept in separate cabanas on the property with a walkway over the Koi pond. The Koi pond is very shallow but if you have young kids this is something to keep mind. The kids loved the Koi pond, the pool, and the beach. They were never bored and didn't want to leave. The code were given to the property to check in didn't work and it took multiple calls to get ahold of the property management company so that is why there isn't 5 stars for check-in. There was also an electrical failure on the property that happened in the middle of the night which is common in Costa Rica and someone I spoke with at the management company wasn't very nice but they had electricians out the next day which was great. They had someone stop by twice to do landscaping and he cleaned up all the leaves and sand outside which was a nice perk. I would stay here again and I hope you are lucky enough to stay at this property, we had a great time.
