Very convenient, heated pool
Breakfast was great. Not all staff understood English so we had some misunderstandings. On site parking was limited so we were sent to a lot across the street which was a bit of a walk back to the hotel.
One of our favorite parts was the breakfast. All the different types of cheeses and salads were so delicious. We also enjoyed the pool very much.
Common areas are not bad but need repairs. Rooms are very tired, quite dirty by American standards, and need bathroom work and better mattresses. Huge construction site next to the hotel. Construction starts at sunrise and ends at sunset. Huge excavators and many trucks are constantly moving dirt. Get ready for noise and dust. We had three rooms and each had different issues, such as missing towels, missing shampoo, missing slippers. We preferred to not use room cleaning service for various reasons (primarily safety of our belongings). Overall, our interactions with receptionists and other staff members were awful. We were harassed twice. First, by a rude receptionist who could not find our three reservations and insisted that we only had one room. Second, by an armed Russian-speaking security guard who chased after us in the lobby to ask if we stayed in this hotel - we were coming from the beach wearing bathrobes with Isrotel logos. Breakfast - good selection. Dinner - poor selection and quality of meats. Beach. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the "private" beach. The beach was not private but we were in general satisfied with it. Other hotels had comparable and frequently better equipped (more modern) beaches. We stayed in other hotels on Dead Sea over years, too. We consistently experienced the same issues. Isrotel is not better or worse than the others. They were all mediocre.
The hotel is just ok. Hotels location is great. The breakfast is really good with lots of choices. There is parking. The rooms are dated. The pools are not heated. In may the pools were tok cold to swim in. Kids are not allowed to use the jacuzzi which is inside the spa. The buffet in the evening is so so.
Beautiful Hotel. Great Location. Definitely recommend
The location of the hotel is perfect since it is very close to the beach and shops- only few meters away. The food is great and the variety of it is wonderful. Again everything that we asked for a staff member was always happy to help and accommodate. Thank you for making our family trip enjoyable
