Really enjoyed our stay at Setouchi Keirin. Staying in Tamano was a perfect way to discover Naoshima + Teshima islands and have a safe and quiet island to come back to. Everything is walking distance and easy to access. Highly recommend those interested in discovering a hidden gem!

The staff were welcoming and accommodating from beginning to end. Each day our beds were reset to our individual preferences and all the toiletry amenities were topped up with a fresh bottle of water per person. The view of the Valedrome stadium + timing of the race and weekend activities made our stay top notch! We just missed the public bath house but loved that it was part of the amenities available to hotel guests, along with bike rentals. The Forq was also a great restaurant /lounge space to come back to on our three day experience in Tamano. Overall- highly recommend to anyone visiting Naoshima and Teshima to anchor here!

Overall, this is a stylish hotel with good value for money. You will get everything you need include a comfortable room, public bath and free laundry. Hotel staffs are friendly and energetic, always there to answer your questions. The restaurant is nice and I enjoyed the breakfast a lot. The only downside is that it is like 20 mins walk from the station / port, there are buses but I took the taxi. Another thing is that there is no black out curtain, if you are a light sleeper then you need to prepare for it. Other than that I m glad that I stayed here!

Hotel incorporated into a velodrome away from the port but easy walk to catch the ferry to the islands. Lunch and dinner menu's offered are not up to Japanese standard so you need to eat at Uno port unless you want fried food. Breakfast okay but no fresh fruit. A word of warning even if you just want a drink at the restaurant after your day you need to book at reception on your return to the hotel. Also need to book shuttle if you want transfer to Uno station on any day. Bike hire available for taking on the ferry for Island tours. Rooms small so travel light as no room for larger suitcases.

Great find in a remote location

This hotel is right next to professional bike racing track so you can watch athletes train. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They watched our luggage before and after our stay. Their breakfast was incredibly good.

Cute quirky hotel

Although the rooms were very small, we enjoyed our stay at this unique hotel. It was entertaining watching the cyclists training during dinner time.
