We gratefully accepted a free ugrade to try out a superior room with pool. Unfortunately the weather had not been great so the water was a bit chilly. The room was wonderful. Thanks Stephen for setting this up for us
Room with two king size beds and a private pool. Tip-top condition except the floor trap at Room H119 was cracked and a bit risky as it can cuts our feet if we are not careful. By right the housekeeper should inform/report this to maintenance to replace. Buffet breakfast is good with a lot of choices. Staffs are attentive and helpful The Management should consider to have a BBQ buffet dinner on Saturday night with a reasonable charges probably around RM55 to RM65 nett for in-house guest. Would like to recommend to visit this place indeed.
I have an unpleasant stay however everything was solve very quick by the Hotel Manager. Special thanks to Simon Tan to turn over my stay from unpleasant to memorable. Me and my family enjoy very much. All the staff are friendly. Keep it up.
Hotel room with 2 extra king size beds,And private pool. Rooms cleaned on a daily basis and beds turned down whilst your out having dinner. Breakfast is very good with fresh fruit available as well as pastries and freshly cooked eggs to your choice. The staff are all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. What would I change ? A bar out by the pool would be nice instead of having to ask for someone to come out and take your order. Would I reccomend? Yes indeed I would.
This is the 2nd time my sisters and I stayed in the Grand Lexis. They have made a commendable effort with their great customer service. From the smiling doorman to the attentive restaurant staff and the excellent buggy drivers. However, the staff you don't meet. like housekeeping and maintenance, do need to get their act together. There were cigarette butts around the private pool area and some black floating thing in the toilet bowl and the minibar fridge was not working. There was a sign on the fridge that said "Drinks inside are complimentary" Errr...1 can of Sarsi?? I still rate the place as very good given the novelty of the buggy cars and of course, a private plunge pool in your room. No complaints about the buffet breakfast. Superb, Wide variety.
Had a great stay at grand lexis. Executive villa are amazing and very clean. The staff are very nice n always tries their best to make your stay more enjoyable. Receptionist Chandra was very helpful. She liaised with her whole team to plan for my birthday and made sure everything was set up correctly. The local food in the restaurant is excellent. Restaurant managers Mages and Sathiya are very friendly and professional. They were very helpful from the very first day of our stay. Mages recommended some excellent foods and places of attractions and is always looking for opportunities to make customers stay a pleasant one. Both had a genuine smile and welcoming approach at all times. Mages manages his team very well and they were all very professional.
A very memorable vacation as i celebration anniversary and also birthday celebration here. The staff was great and so friendly as we feel so welcome here. From the fromt door to the receptionist, the buggy staff all are so friendly. The staff help me out through the surprise cake for my husband and he is truly shocked and happy. My kids enjoyed the vacation so much although it is only for 1 night. But the experience that we never forget and we will visiting this place again! Good job guys!
Checked in during end Sep 2017 for a 3D2N stay at Grand Lexis, Executive Pool Villa. Greeted by receptionist with welcome drink. Buggy ride available to send to rooms or a short walk to rooms is do-able. Room is spacious with 2 king sized bed, completed with basic bath amenities, water boiler, mini fridge, mini kitchen and a private pool in room, about 1.4m depth. There are some mini games and activities (chargeable) such as archery, segway ride, bicycle ride, ping pong games, WII games and some children electronics games in the resort itself. There are outdoor swimming pools, restaurants, karaoke and function/ballroom as well. Room air conditioner went haywire on the first night, called to reception and immediately the servicemen were sent to rectify the problem. Having a cool night after that. There is no fast food chains or convenience shop within walking vicinity. Prepare own food and necessities in advance. Nearest McD, Starbucks, chainfood about 10-15mins drive away. Recommended for company teambuilding events/big group travels.
From the very first moments the Grand Lexis was an impressive experience. Service at the door, check in and thereafter was of the highest order with the decor complementing the experience. Golf-cart style electric vehicles transported us and our luggage to the room smoothly and efficiently, with the friendly staff going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. We occupied a "Grand Pool Villa Waterhouse" for our one night stay at the Grand Lexis and its hard to imagine a more luxurious room. Two huge beds, superb timber floors, and stylish furnishings were just the start. In a novel feature I'd never seen before, a window had been let into the attractive timber floor and, as the accommodation was built out over tidal flats, we were able to watch as the water rose beneath our feet with the incoming tide. I did initially have a concern about sharing the room with bothersome insects, given the tidal area below us, but this proved to be unfounded. Not a single mosquito or other biting species was spotted at any time. In another first for me, each room in the section we occupied has its own private swimming pool, small but adequate, and we made good use of this facility during our stay. The bathroom was expansive and clean with a "rain" style shower, adequate hot water, a range of quality toiletries, ironing board and iron, multiple towels and bathrobes all provided. The one, single complaint I could make about our entire visit, (and one other visitors should be aware of), is that although there is a standard scald warning sign about the water in the shower, the hot tap itself became so hot during showers that I needed to use a shampoo bottle to turn it off, rather than touch it with my fingers. Lounge furniture was "chunky comfortable" and the kitchen was well equipped with the basic necessities of microwave, electric jug, teas and coffees. I can imagine that some of the services of this hotel, (such as the electric carts to the rooms), might be rather slower at peak times than our visit, (which was over a Sunday night), but we didn't wait more than 5 minutes for attention at any time over our stay. Being more than happy with the luxury in the room, we only visited the public areas such as the restaurants, bars and pools to take a look but were impressed by the apparent quality and services these areas appeared to offer. All in all, the Grand Lexis was impressive in every detail and provided a striking contrast to our last visit to Port Dickson during which we were accommodated in the laughable "Eagle Ranch Resort", an experience which had dissuaded us from visiting the town for several years. The Grand Lexis is, in my opinion, one of the best hotels in Malaysia, far above the standard of many "big names" in the capital. Our congratulations to management and staff for a job better than well done.
The stay part of the business trip. The room is spacious with the pool in the room. Pool is 1.4m depth andyou can enter via the door and the toilet windows. Food at the restaurant (Lunch and Breakfast) is ok. Not much fancy. The Ballroom is adequate for 120 people and foods served there is nice, satay etc. The team building park is interesting. Some nice team games.
