Hotel Metropol

I would like to recommend this hotel for those who are looking for a nice place to stay in for a weekend. This hotel is located close to both old Tallinn and harbor. It is clean, it has free WiFi, and breakfast there is delicious and hearty (one should keep in mind that breakfast variety of courses is every day all the same).

I've stayed for a night after spending 2 nights in Stockholm. I've realized that the winter season in Scandinavia is extremely cold, so I've asked for a room with sauna. I've enjoyed my stay here and the price was still reasonable, even after the upgrade. The room was big and the staff were friendly. The only negative point was that there's a construction work going on, but it wasn't a big deal.

We choose Metropol because of good location and parking. Location is 10 min to city center. Hotel needs update, stuff wasnt quite friendly. Room was clean. Hotel parking wasnt available, so we paid 10,- eur to Europark for 24h parking and left car in front of hotel. We had morning gift of 31,- eur penalty, because small parking in the front of hotel turned out to not be Europark parking. Its tourist trap. Be carefull.

We were in december, but in the rooms was very hot, luckily there was fan. Windows without handles so it's impossible to open it. Flat tv, comfy beds, mini fridge, hair dryer in the bathroom. Additional pillows in closet.

An okay room, booked as on a budget and when on weekends break we don't spend much time at all in the room Hotel is in a good location, within a ten minute walk to old town. A nice new shopping complex just round the corner with some bars. The room itself is very basic and the thing I couldn't stand was the window that didn't open. It felt horrible not being able to get fresh air. We were left with having to prop open the main door, just to feel normal. Not good

Nice, clean spacy rooms, tasty breakfast, close to the old city, the hotels restaurant also very good .one of the best budjet hotel in tallin.we have been in this hotel many times, i hope many times to come!

This facility is relatively new, clean, well maintained and staffed. It's comparable to a Holiday Inn Express with better food. The restaurant on site is very very good; do dine in. It is very well located. On weekends expect to see a lot of Scandinavians partying. Fun!

I was on a business trip with a colleague and we were unable to bring our flight forward due to poor service from our tour agent. We choose the Metropole on price as it was just for one night and is near to the old part of Tallinn. Rooms are very basic, but were clean. The room and corridors were quite tired and are in need of refurbishment, but at 48 Euros night not too bad. Location was good. Breakfast standard european type.

I was given an unexpected upgrade to a junior suite with a sauna, which was a wonderful surprise. The room was spacious, ditto for the bathroom and toiletries. The metro stop from the airport is 150 m away and a supermarket is just in front of that. The hotel is in the trendy Rottermann district and also walking distance from the historical centre. Staff are helpful. The hotel definitely ticks all the relevant boxes. A definite recommendation.

Efficient, clean, updated room/spacious room & bath, heated tiles in bath, wooden floors in rooms (better), 5 minutes on foot to old town, grocery, bus/tram to main central bus/train stations. Good restaurant for dinner, fast service, had pasta with chicken was delicious and inexpensive. Breakfast was good selection had porridge and fish healthy fruit/veg. Staff fast smiling helpful patient with directions. If any complaint in room maintenance is quick. Bed was comfy (best wish I could find it in US). Hotel area was safe modern outside the wall (Old Town) but there was a construction just in front of my room but I am not there during the day, so did not bother me. Had single room, satisfied. Shower was a bit dark but no big deal because I am solo just open the curtain (a bit dated). Guest: Evelyn D. Sept 2017
