There is a choice of two bedroom, one bedroom, and studio. The studio has a pull out couch, and is spacious, so 4 people could stay there. This is only 12 minute ride from the airport. The full kitchen makes it easy to reside there. A Greenwise with prepared foods is across the street. There is a full free breakfast. Every thing was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. WiFi is free, but they charge $20 per night to keep car in parking lot. I did not perceive the parking charge on the website when I made the reservation. I will stay there again.
Proximity to FSU, cleanliness, staff. Courtesy van to FSU was an unexpected plus.
We had a 2 bedroom suite that was perfect! The daily breakfast and nightly happy hour were a huge bonus!
It was clean and the staff were friendly. Convienent to the nearby breweries, which was our main reason for staying here.
Rooms are spacious and clean Bed and bedding is very comfortable Complimentary breakfast is very good
If you need a quiet night's sleep don't stay at this hotel. It's across from a very loud club and close to a train track. Upon check-in, I was asked if I was parking my car. I said that I was and inquired why I was being asked. The clerk very rudely said "Because I need to print your parking pass". I noticed the $10 parking fee on the pass when I was putting it in my windshield. The clerk should have said something like "There is a $10 per night parking fee. I'll need to print a parking pass so you don't get towed". I'm not sure what her problem was, but this was the least welcoming hotel I can remember. In fairness, I've stayed here several years ago and things were not this bad. I didn't hear the train and the club used to be a warehouse. Be warned.
Front desk staff very unattentive Free breakfast food very dry
Once again another family trip to Florida necessitated in a room for 5 people and this hotel delivered! Big and clean rooms, ours had a kitchenette fully stocked with dishes and cutlery and even popcorn. Big refrigerator where we could stuff in the remains of our Christmas dinner. The sofa bed was quite comfy! Staff was really nice. Those at the front desk were helpful and checked on us as we entered and left the hotel. Those that manned the kitchen and breakfast area each morning ensured that all food was well stocked. Parking is not free, but it is completely worth paying for to keep your car in the hotel's lot rather than parking else where. The small exercise room is surprisingly amply supplied with weights and equipment for a quick workout during your stay. There is a hot tub beside the outdoor pool both were clean and at the right temperatures. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting either university in the area or just making a stop. The hotel is walking distance to the main tourist attractions in the city - namely the history museum, capitol and supreme court. For everything else, you'll need a car! Good restaurants and coffee shops across the street too!
Not the typical Marriott Courtyard. A bit run down and staff were not professional in appearance or service.
After some long days at FSU, it was so nice coming back to this home away from home. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet.. The happy hour was welcoming and tasty. I actually wished I could have stayed more than two nights! I am looking forward to visiting my son at FSU and staying at the Residence Inn again.
We had just attended a wedding two hours from Tallahassee and had a 6:00 AM flight out. Instead of driving at such an early hour, we decided to stay near the airport. Usually, this would mean the typical "airport hotel", the this property was great! We walked to a fine restaurant on the FSU campus and were only 5 minutes to the airport. Well done. Also-great staff and amenities.
I slept well. The sleeper sofa was comfortable. The service was fast.
I choose this hotel because it was within walking distance to FSU and my son's house. I felt comfortable going for my morning run through FSU's campus. It is especially nice to have the luxury of a sitting room when visiting a student living in a small apartment. My son could come and visit us! The hotel provided a good hot & cold breakfast that had something for everyone.
The parking was easily accessible and the frontdesk experience was painless. The third floor room was near the elevator and things were looking good. The studio had appeal and things were clean with not smells. Before long I realized I was getting a lot of street noise. As evening fell the noise increased and then the trains, oh the trains! Seems like there were emergency vehicles going by every ten minutes and I don't think the place is near a hospital or fire station. The bottom line is this, there are two kinds of rooms in this hotel my friend. Those that face the busy streets/tracks and those in the back. Take the ones in the back if you can. Oh, and the free breakfast is a joke.
First time in Tallahassee but the hotel was better than I expected - the room was spacious and clean and tho I only stayed one night, it would have been perfectly adequate for an extended stay, which I guess is what Residence Inn is for. Lobby was nice, breakfast was what you'd expect - -overall, it was a good experience.
Check in was uneventful. Rooms were clean and quiet. Free breakfast was really good. Love having a small kitchen and frig! Close to good eats and FSU/FAMU!
Check in was very smooth. Room was nice as always.
Great staff. Complimentary breakfast has a nice selection. Evening reception is average. The only area that needs some work is the exercise facility. Equipment is old, limited and noisy.
When we entered hotel we had free happy our drinks and snacks. Kitchen staff super friendly. We then went up to the room and found dish towel with 4 different areas with food stuck on it in front and in back more food stuck and huge grease accumulation approx 3x4 inches wide. We checked bed and found three little dead bugs under mattress pad. e were moved to another room and found a 1/2 in by 4 inch long blood stain over stain with dark blood drops over older blood drops at seam exactly as pictured on bedbug site. Hotel said it was glue . No way.. We know what blood drops look like and it looked exactly like the preventing bedbug site depicted. This was at two spots at head of mattress...never finished looking elsewhere we were so disgusted and left and drove 5.50 hrs til 2 am to arrive at our destination.
