It's a cheap and cheerful hotel. The facilities are modern and clean. The beds are firm, so perhaps that's why people have been complaining about them in other opinions but I found them to be very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to people for sure.
Overpriced. Those 4 starts should be just 2. Broken furniture, poor service, paid too much for everything besides the room. Corte Ingles is a poor choice, won't do ever again. Talavera is a very nice city though.
For the price you pay in france for a rabbit hole, you get a super spacious luxury suite here with jaccuzi bath included! There is a democratic restaurant attached, for the ones looking for cheap menus on a terrace if you wish. It is most centrally located. The parking is a bit difficult to enter if it is your first time, and could be better signposted. It is underneath the hotel, next to the corte Ingle parking.
The hotel staff were excellent. Spoke good English and were quick to resolve any problems. We had rooms with a lot of members of our family as we were attending a wedding nearby. We were placed in rooms close to each other on the same floor which was very helpful. However, all the rooms had a clear glass window that you could see through into the bath and shower. Fine if just my husband and I were in the room but not when we had visits to our room from other family members!!!
Great hotel. Can't fault it for the price. Check in was easy and the rooms are very modern and clean. The shower has a window into the bedroom which is amusing! Recommended for a stay in Talavera de la Reina
Good double rooms and service, only downside was the Wi-Fi, which was too weak to use on the 5th floor. Bathrooms were excellent. Plenty of parking spaces, accessible through the Toledo Avenue tunnel.
Stopped here for one night during roadtrip. Room was modern, clean and quiet and had all normal equipment, also fridge, toiletries and free wifi, which worked ok. Breakfast was continental style, good variety of different choices. There is parking hall available for a extra fee. However, I found cheap street parking from the backside of the hotel. Taxi stand is also located in front of the hotel.
The rooms are nice and its in a good location. Nice powerful shower but you can see in the shower from the bedroom! My only real quibble was the aircon, it was non existent in our room and had to sleep with the window open! Be aware that parking is 12€ a day.
Recent stay for 3 nights. Hotel is easy enough to find however car park and cost of car park needs some attention...my recommendation park in the car park across the road...2 euros 50 for 24 hrs compared to 12 euros in hotel. Room is modern and is fully equipped for all needs, during our stay we did have two issues the smell of the drains was not too good and the TV was not operational. Whilst hte latter was a hotel issue lasting 24 hrs the drains appeared to not to be resolved. I expect the hotel to change room however this was not forthcoming, as we were out most of the time we chose not to pursue. The bar area was great for breakfast/coffee in the morning however not great at night, typically closed or wouldn't accommodate request fopr a drink...not flexible. The location is ideal for all areas of the city especially bustop/station
The hotel and staff were good. We chose it as we were in late into Madrid and had to be in the Algarve the next day. As to the good, the room was small but clean comforable, and they had an elevator. There was a good restaurant (reasonable prices and menu) in the building and the breakfast was good. All and all what was expected nothing more. In today's world that is not bad. They have secure inside parking the only problem if you are going by GPS the hotel is invisible as it is in a pedestrian area.We finally parked at the GPS address in a loading zone walked in found out how to find the hotel parking in an underground garage. Even then if we had not been around the block about six times we would not have found the garage. It is a good value for the money but if you are driving make sure you get a map from them in advance.
