This place was very disappointing, dangerous access from main road, receptionist lady promised evening delivery service the left for the day. The male staff did their best with a bad situation. Pool dirty and unusable, internet not working, adverising restaurant but not open, the walkways dirty. The rooms are ok but we had to move as the air conditioning was not working. Just a disaster.

Amazing View

We were very happy overall with this Resort. When we arrive we were upgraded to a better room with a beautifull view... Very friendly reception... Very friendly staff!..The steps to the beautifull private beach were a bit difficult.... but as we knew about it....It was no problem... The breakfast was okey.... We also had a very noce dinner at the restaurant on site...Overall will come back again to this resort....

Amazing Views

This is a great value in a relatively expensive area. The property is really cool and provides you with privacy and amazing views. The property is dated, but it gives it a certain rustic charm. Just a great value!

Amazing location

Amazing location on a hillside overlooking the sea and Khao Lak. Beautiful pool with a great view as well. The restaurant food was not good, but other than that this was a good stop for one night after our liveaboard dive trip.

Very nice cabanas

Very nice hotel with cabana style accommodations overlooking the beach and Adaman Sea. Cabanas are clean and bathrooms are fairly contemporary with hot water. Staff are extremely pleasant and helpful, especially the main receptionist/concierge Patcharee J who speaks quite good English and offered much good advice about shops in nearby town Khao Lak and side tours.

Very rustic and dated but it works.

First impression of this hotel is that there is no hotel as it is located on a cliff and you only see the reception room from street level. It’s location is ok (not ideal) as it sits on the edge of steep cliff within short walk to beautiful beach. The age and condition of this hotel leaves a lot to be desired. It is clean but dated and very rustic. Ok for backpackers not sure about 3 and 4 star customers.

Hotel was fine .. nice little bungalow .. friendly staff .. Nothing against the hotel but the whole area is just a German / French old folks home ... I had not seen any reviews pointing this out and so was not as thrilled as I would have liked to have been by the area ... they say " quiet " but that sounds nice .... not what I thought at all .....

Close to a National Park

Staying at Baan Krating Resort was wonderful and it felt like we were among the trees of the forest. I really enjoyed the boardwalks and seeing a variety of bird species in the tops of trees at eye level. From the resort we hiked to Khao Lak National Park entrance to hike the coastal trail of this National Park.

Tolle Lage, leider ist die Poollandschaft verändert und entspricht nicht den Bildern. Poolwasser ist kalt! Außerdem sind viele Mosquitos unterwegs. Frühstück ist eher dürftig.

Trappor trappor väldigt mycket trappor ingen hiss. WiFi bara i allmänna utrymmen, ingen på rummen. Ett par saker som var ur funktion när jag kom men det åtgärdades omedelbart när jag påpekade felen. Ingen badstrand nedanför hotellet. Man fick gå en ganska lång bit. Hotellpersonalen erbjöd sig att ringa efter en taxi om man inte ville gå. Underbar utsikt över havet. Magnifika solnedgångar. Lugnt och stilla. Skulle inte rekommendera detta till mina vänner.

Leider war die Anlage insgesamt nebst jedenfalls unserer Unterkunft total veraltet, ungepflegt, lieblos und dunkel. Die Handtücher waren teils schmutzig, die Strandtücher haben wir aufgrund des Zustandes überhaupt nicht benutzt. Sauberkeit hatte generell keinen sonderlich hohen Stellenwert. Dschungelfeeling, wie es oftmals beschrieben wurde, ist bei uns nicht aufgekommen. Die in der Tat sehr schöne Aussicht hat dies für mein Verständnis nicht relativiert. Die Anlage ist relativ abgelegen, sodass sich ein fahrbarer Untersatz durchaus anbietet. Unser Roller, den wir sodann über das Resort gebucht haben, war vom Zustand um einiges schlechter als der, den wir eine Woche zuvor in Chiang Rai gemietet hatten, hat aber gleich viel gekostet. Das Personal war nicht unfreundlich, vergleichsweise aber nicht annähernd so herzlich und hilfsbereit, wie wir es die Wochen zuvor erlebt hatten! Leider hat man uns bei Nachfrage wegen eines Transfers zum Flughafen nach Phuket versucht, über den Tisch zu ziehen, sodass wir unserem Transfer anderweitig organisiert hatten. Nachdem wir dann noch wegen des angeblichen Konsums von 3 Coladosen zur Kasse gebeten wurden, weil letztlich die Putzfrau vergessen hatte, die Bar nach Abreise des vorherigen Gastes aufzufüllen, war uns klar, dass wir hier keinen weiteren Aufenthalt verbringen werden!! Die Dame hat es überhaupt nicht interessiert, was wir zu sagen hatten, die Reaktion war völlig inakzeptabel. Schade, denn insgesamt hat die Anlage sicher Potential

Die Lage war Wunderschön einen schönen Blick aufs Meer. Jedoch war die Unterkunft sehr heruntergekommen lag viel Plastik rum und abbruchreif. Für zwei Nächte war es o. k., Das Frühstück muss man noch extra bezahlen hab ich dann zu spät bemerkt lohnt sich nicht wirklich.

Dejligt ophold

Havde er skønt ophold. Hytterne ligge med fantastisk udsigt og har en dejlig altan. Hotellet ligger lidt for sig selv. Personalet er meget søde og yderst hjælpsomme. Morgenmaden er lidt kedelig. Det er nemt at gå til byen af vejen eller stranden, det tager ca 20 min. Jeg kommer helt sikkert igen.
