I like the room the gave me, it was big, clean and the bed was so comfy. Located in a quite street and just in the middle of two metro stations. The staff were so kind and accommodating specially Annie and Jessica- so glad they helped me arranged a guided tours with their partnered travel agency. However, the soundproofing in this facility needs to be fixed as i can hear the noise and snoring from the next door. Other than that, the whole stay was pleasant and worth the money.
Me and my bf stayed here for 7 nights during our trip to Taipei * Location: You can get access either by taxi or by metro and a short walk. The hotel located next to a nice park. 7 eleven, family mart are just 5-min walk away. * Staffs: They can speak English, but not so good, which leads to misunderstanding and wrong information sometimes. They can friendly and helpful, but you can not ask for someone really professional. * Room: Quite small but clean and comfortable.Bed and chair are both comfortable. Bathroom with both shower and (big) bathtub and a TV (I love it). Toilet is modern and clean. Sound-proof ability of the door is not so good. Air conditioner seems to be unable to control. No balcony but have a window. * Breakfast: Limited choice. But the dumplings are good. There is free coffee and rose tea served at the lobby * Service: Laundry service quick and clean. Delivered to room. * Price: Generally fair. More expensive on holidays.
It was a great experience. Nice hotel and good location but rather had a hard time communicating because of language barrier. But they were accommodating and courteous. Another thing is the supposed buffet breakfast but not exactly buffet. They have two sets of menu to choose from then placed on a tray. In fairness the food is okay.
The room is small but clean. Hotel located in a quiet street. Around 15 min walk to MRT station. Wifi is reasonable fast. Hot water is good. Small working desk. Not suitable for business traveler. More for leisure traveler whom one a room to sleep.
When you think ‘chain’ hotels you might be discouraged into booking but don’t let that cheat you of the experience of staying at the ‘Beauty’ chains in Taipei. B Chic can easily boast about its complimentary breakfast and clean chic rooms but their great location, friendly staff and well priced rates sets this hotel apart from the vast majority. I was not disappointed and neither would you.
The staff at Beauty Hotel were very friendly and super helpful from arriving to my departure. My room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is close to everything you need. Would recommend staying here.
This hotel is in a pretty central location if you don't mind walking. If you are a morning person there is Linsen Park right next to the hotel, where you could get some exercise. If you want to go shopping the hotel is about 15 minutes from Shin Kong Mitsukoshi by the MRT Zhongshan station. There is also high end merchandise at the basement of Regent Taipei which is about 10 minutes walk away. If you are into night life, there is a Cashbox KTV nearby or you could check out the Linsen area for some food and drinks. The room is clean and well kept, may not be the biggest room, but it's nice and cozy. The staff speaks English and gave me very friendly service upon my arrival and during my stay. Would stay again if I'm ever in the area.
We stay for 3 nights in BChic, didn't take their breakfast set. We find the location is very good, very near to Zhongsan station, we could just took the subway all the way to airport. In front of the hotel about 100m walk, there is a park and some shopping complex and a cinema. There is a Taiwan bank where i can change my old NT$ to new notes. Everything is just nearby, great location. Friendly and helpful front desk as well. Oh I love the flower teas they serve in tea room next to front desk
The hotel wifi was extremely slow during the evening so I left for an hour or so hoping to come back and perhaps it would be better. It was actually worse. 50kbps download speed to be exact. That's slower than China with the great firewall. I called down to the front desk, explained the problem and the front desk agent told me she would help. I waited about 20 minutes, went downstairs and let them know the internet was slow. The front desk clerk told me there was nothing that could be done because maybe too many people were using the internet. Well I thought maybe I could enjoy a book since the internet was barely functioning. Wrong. The walls are paper thin and I could hear conversations in adjoining rooms. I have stayed at 4 hotels in Taiwan and this was the worst service I have received, slowest internet and nosiest rooms. There are plenty of better hotels around in my opinion.
Is about 20 minutes walk from MRT station to hotel. With in the vicinity there is a park, mall, shops and more shops selling foods ( my favourite noodles / dumpling food shop just .5 meters away from McD ), boutique , shop specially just carried Japanese products and night time will have street stall setup so mean more shopping! I am Neutral with hotel lobby however I am impress with the room and up keep of everything! A big thanks to cleaning crew whom refill, arranged and clean the bathroom until all glassess are spotless. Note, if u arrived via MRT at least try exist at ShongJiang, nothing much to discover compared if exist from ZhongShan, for ladies will be happy to discover Thomod, a drug store selling jap product and local brand. This exist as well landed directly at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi mall, a place that prefect for you to splurge.
