Great house and location. Comfortable living room and extras like clean working hot tub, pool table, and abundance of games/TVs for entertainment made it a really nice stay. Owners even have a box for “if you forgot it” which is so nice. Big thanks to kind responsible owners for responsiveness (Letting us access property when we got there slightly early and answering a few questions during our stay)Close to 5 stars but took one off due to the wear and condition of some things that need attention including stained carpet, kitchen areas (some sticky old stuff), and no room in the outdoor garbage when we arrived. Some of this is expected from a cabin rental and understand owners can’t control garbage habits of previous renters. Overall would recommend and would stay here again!

Check in was very convenient and the home had plenty of room for our family. I have been in contact with the owner to discuss multiple items that needed attention. She was unaware of the condition of the home mainly flooring/carpet/rugs, dishes, decking, cleaning issues. Our family did have a great time however and she assured us that she would reach out to the maintenance/cleaning crew. She also said when she is in town she will also address the above issues.

This was a great place for us. The pool table kept the kids busy, the hot tub was amazing, and added bonus it was dog friendly so we even got to bring the dog. Host was responsive and accommodating.

Awesome place!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It’s close to grocery and beaches and just a short drive to some of the more popular areas. The neighborhood was great. Owner was quick to respond to questions, kitchen was well stocked, and they had extra mattresses. They had little details for kids like stools under sinks that people without kids wouldn’t notice, but makes a difference for those with kids! We would definitely stay here again!

Clean, spacious, well-stocked. In a great location. Nice jacuzzi, good wifi. The only thing I might recommend are new, softer, mattresses.

Awesome Get Away

We had an amazing time in the trees and going for walks each night. The hot tub was great in the summer after a long day at the river/lake. Loved our stay with family! Host was awesome:)

Great, comfortable stay

We found the house to be very comfortable for our family of 4, and the location was great. We would definitely book again. Past reviews mentioned issues with the bedding. The hosts seem to have addressed those. We found that the sheets fit fine and there were extra blankets and pillows.

Would definitely come back!

We absolutely loved this rental. The location was great for both skiing at NotthStar and heading to the lake. There was great snowshoe area within walking distance. The house was roomy and comfortable. The kids lived playing pool, we all loved the hot tub, and the kitchen was spacious with a great table for eating. We definitely plan on returning!

Family Vacation

House was perfect. Owners had amazing communication. neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Lots of games provided for entertainment. The hot tub was clean and sanitized as was the entire home. The deck was perfect for grilling. we enjoyed our stay and will look to book again.

Excellent place and location

"I just got back from staying at this awesome mountain home in Kings Beach/Tahoe Vista and I had the best time! The neighborhood is super peaceful and there are tons of trails to explore right outside the door. I loved chilling on the big deck, listening to the wind in the trees and watching the chipmunks run around. The house itself is super comfy and has everything you could need. There’s a level 2 EV charger which was real helpful to charge our electric car, pool table, big hot tub, gas fireplace, and tons of TVs. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm and the internet is fast and I was able to work from the cabin for few hours Overall, I had a blast staying at this place and would totally recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing vacation in Tahoe."

Great holiday weekend in Tahoe

Our entire family including our puppies enjoyed the stay. The house was large enough so that each of us could get some space and the outside area was perfect for the summer days so that we truly enjoyed the day out under the trees!

Awesome location/in need of TLC then will make it a 5 star for sure

Location was great!! Only 10 mins away from restaurants and near our favorite ski resort Northstar!! We enjoyed playing pool. Okay so this place really needs some attention to details and some updates. The microwave needs attention. In general the kitchen did not feel clean and inviting. Too much clutter in the cabinets (drawers were a bit dirty) We did run out of hot water on the last day. Is the thermostat scheduled to 55 in the mornings degrees?, upon going to bed we would set it to about 70 and every morning we would wake up to a really cold home. In previous reviews they mention the sheets in the beds. We only used two rooms. We stayed in the one that has the doggie stairs. The sheets continued to shift every time you move until the fitted sheet comes off from its side. This is super simple to fix. Better sheets will guarantee a good night sleep which is so important for guests. We left one night early due to this my husband really just wanted to sleep in our comfy bed. We hope the jacuzzi gets fixed, we were only able to use it once (semi) we were only able to open one half because the cover was filled with water and super heavy to lift. The pathway from the driveway to the front door was very narrow and difficult to get thru with luggage. Maybe you can make it a bit wider. Thank goodness we have two boys that helped with our belongings.

Snow fiasco.

Heavy snowfall and unsafe roads delayed our arrival by a full day. When we did arrive on Tuesday 28 Feb, there was approximately 4 feet of snow blocking the driveway and 5 feet of snow covering the steps to the home. We had to pay a neighbor to snowblow the drive in order to park. We shoveled a path to the door but never found the steps which proved to be dangerous. The owner/property manager (not sure what his role was) told me that his snow removal guy only came after a storm. In this case a totally unsatisfactory response in light of a once in a decade two day snow storm. On Wednesday we again had to pay someone to remove snow . Eventually the guy responsible for snow removal showed up and did some touch -up work but never touched a shovel to remove snow from where the steps were supposed to be, nor did he clean around the deck or hottub. Additionally we never had access to the trash container. In light of the fact we paid for a night that we didn't use, my expectation was that when we did arrive on Tuesday 28 Feb, we could at least get into the property. The property once we got access was great and as advertised. Not sure if there was a property manager nearby but we never heard from anyone local so in this instance there was no contingency planning/action provided.
