This house was fantastic! There was plenty of room for our party of 9 and we had a great stay. The kitchen was superb and was one of the best of any vacation rental I’ve stayed at. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in Tahoe!

Loved our stay at the house. Some items seem to be updated, and I did find that the cleaning crew was probably not as thorough as they could’ve been in various ways, but did not impact our enjoyable time at the home overall.When something did come up, I would send the text and would receive a response almost immediately, which was wonderful! Would definitely consider going back

Great House for our Group

We had a great time at Sandy Shores Villa. The house had a great layout and plenty of room for our 3 families. Our kids loved playing in the snow at the front yard. The house is only 15 minutes from Northstar.

Felt like home

Best cabin we stayed at so far.! Very clean. Didn’t feel like we was staying at a strangers home it really felt like home. 100% recommend this home. Also the best thing about this house is that every room has it own bathroom. Thank you for having us.!

Tahoe getaway

The house was perfect for our group. There was enough space for everyone to sleep and more importantly the common area was spacious to accommodate all 13 guests without feeling like we were getting in each other’s way. We loved that every room had its own bathroom, plus the half bath right off the living room. We did have a couple issues with the house, but management was quick to respond.

Great place for large family!

Check in was simple and the place was pretty clean with the exception of a couple cobwebs in very hard to reach places up high. There was some confusion since we came during the summer and it happened to storm so the place was not fall and winter ready and the first night was cold, but we were able to resolve the heat issue with management to be able to stay warm! Would definitely book here again.

Great Property

We stayed her with both sets of grandparents, a number of friends (cycling through during the stay) and four children under 7. The house and layout provided more than enough room so we never felt on top of each other. It also has a big fenced front yard with cornhole, ping pong tables, and other games that can be brought out from the garage. The house is a short drive from Kings Beach, the playground, the Safeway, and the main strip of bars and restaurants. That said, it’s less than 5 minutes walk to the public beach across the way. Once we discovered that, we kept going back there and we’re able to run back across the street to the house to replenish snacks and beverages and avoid having to use the portapotty at the beach. Also, one of the recent reviews complained about the BBQ so I called in advance of our stay to follow up. The management company assured me it had been replaced and in fact it had been. We enjoyed our stay so much that I called to extend by two days, having noticed the property was available on VRBO. The price listed was substantially less than what we had paid when originally booked. Not only did the management company accommodate but they offered an even lower price than what was listed online. We definitely plan on returning next summer.

Best location, best house for 2-3 family get together for vacation

The house has best location, cross street is the beach, house its self is very clean and has big family room and kitchen. we are so happy to stayed there and enjoy our vacation at Tahoe.

Our first visit to Tahoe. Home is in good location related to supermarkets and parks.

Property was great for our group. We had fewer people in our group than planned, so we all had a lot of space to spread out. The kitchen was amazing. We loved the large common living space. On the bad side, the gas grill needed to be replaced. The grates were rusted. Overall, I still give the property a 5 star due to location and layout.

Perfect location, beautiful property.

We loved the layout! This is a beautiful property. The housekeeping was lacking, however. There were used makeup towels in the bathrooms and the throw rugs were in need of washing. There was hair in one of the bathtubs. I’m sure this is something the owners are not aware of! I would definitely stay there again, however as it is perfect for a large family!

Birthday getaway

The house was spacious and comfortable for a party of 9 adults and 2 children. Particularly appealing is that each bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchen is very spacious allowing simultaneous preparations, and the living room is large and comfortable for a large group of people to sit. Unfortunately, , the BBQ had not been cleaned, and it took us some time to do so before we were able to cook. Also this is a two level house with only one thermostat at the upper level, hence temperatures at the ground level, where most of the bedrooms are, were colder. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and I would return to this property in the future.

Great Accommodation for a Family Get Together!

This home was built for the masses! Wide stairway, open kitchen with two sinks and HOT water fast! An extra refrigerator / freezer in the garage. All the bedrooms were downstairs except the master. Kitchen, Master, Living and Dinning upstairs. All but one of the bedrooms had a bathroom inside the bedroom, and the one bedroom that did not have the bathroom inside the bedroom, actually had a much larger bathroom right across the hall, so those guests were thrilled as well! Bring house slippers, as no shoes in the house, and my feet were killing me walking around barefoot on all the hard surfaces. I think many people that visit Tahoe, tend to bring their four legged friends to enjoy the outdoors, so it is a bummer that it is now, a no pet house :( Enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Walk to Lake vacation spot!

"Walk to Lake" caught my eye and it is correct. We walked to Tahoe every day. The fenced in lawn was a favorite place for games and relaxing. The house held our four families quite comfortably. Also enjoyed the hot tub. Very nice vacation rental!

Great location, newly renovated

It was my first stay at this property but likely not my last. I came with my extended family, including 3 young children and our dog. The house is spacious with a huge yard to play in. The house itself has been recently updated although a few of the bathrooms are still original - all very clean but the renovated bathrooms are much nicer. Plenty of room for 3 adults, 3 kids and a dog (we didn’t even use one of the rooms). Hot tub is well maintained. Great location near Sandy Beach - I have been coming to Tahoe all my life and have never been to this beach before so this was a great discovery. It has soft sand and boat rentals. There is a sand bar so you have warmer, shallow water that is great for kids. Most importantly, it is much less crowded than the other nearby beaches - we went to Kings beach one day and it was packed. Lots of food options nearby and even walking distance to ice cream. Overall a great home in Tahoe for the summer. Large, dog friendly, updated home with good location and nearby amenities.

Too restrictive on the agreement limits

The agreement was very restrictive to the point of not being able to move furniture. Fines were listed for everything so we spent a lot of time ensuring we knew the rules so as not to get fined. Virtually no language in the agreement on what their responsibility was. Very high priced. We still had fun and made the best of it.
