Great location near Pailsades
Very convenient location close to Palisades. A couple issues with dishwasher and shower head, however very responsive when called to get fixed. Overall, we had a great stay!

In need of updates
Good location, great view but property is in need of updates-dryer didn’t work, dishwasher didn’t work well, no Wi-Fi for upstairs playroom tv, strong mildew smell in upstairs bathroom.

As advertised!
Our stay was so much fun and the house was just perfect. We sat out on the deck everyday and enjoyed the amazing view. Everything was as we expected from the listing. The 7 of us were very comfortable in this house. I still think the west shore is the best place to stay when visiting Lake Tahoe.

Great location, poorly maintained - not worth the cost
Great location - closer to city and you can enjoy the lake views from the deck.
But the place was portly maintained for the price:
1) We had no TV or Internet - throughout our stay. We spent many hours with the cable provider and management firm to know that the lead time to fix is 10 days !!!
2) Lack of basic amenities. No toilet paper, hand soaps, etc. Kitchen had no basics either like salt, oil or even non stick pans. Sigh.
3) Annoying details like no access to deck. Management company told us that because of risk of snow/ice falling from the roof. But then poor access to the house - because the whole enterabce is iced up !!!
For the cost, this was one of my not-so-good-stays (if not worst).

Amazing Property!
Overall, this was a great property; the location, the views, the open concept really was excellent for our large group.
Suggested improvements would include;
-Screens on all windows and the sliding door to the upper deck (there is no AC and we were only able to open 1/2 of the windows due to lack of screens. There are moths and mosquito's so this was a problem)
-Make sure cook top and grill are fully functioning. We had some burners that would not light on the gas cook top and only one side of the grill would ignite.
-Add more dish towels (hand and sink)-there were only two.
-Add extra TP rolls in all bathrooms; there was only one bathroom with 3 extra rolls in a basket-this should be available in all bathrooms.
-Wash all extra blankets for each new arrival. (We did use the blankets for cold evenings and mornings but many of them were anything but "fresh" so no idea when they were washed-pretty gross)
Again, this was an incredible property and we would definitely stay there again. Property management was really excellent and responded to us even over the weekend (pretty amazing!).

A beautiful home with a cozy and connective layout.
We loved our stay here and found the home just right for being able to cook together and hang out but also find private time in the various nooks of the home. The hot tub and sauna were so good after a day on the hill riding and everything we needed was there. The hot tub was being serviced when we got there and they offered us a 10% off next visit and/or an early check in which was really nice too. Everyone we interfaced with was helpful and friendly and we would definitely stay again.

Gorgeous Property. Kitchen is well-stocked with usable cutlery appliances and dishes.
We loved this house. I was very impressed with how clean the house was and how well the kitchen was stocked with decent quality knives, pots, pans and dishes, etc. I know it sounds silly but a lot of cabins or homes have old, crappy pots and dishes. This family has stocked the kitchen so that you can actually cook and prepare real meals for your family. I brought my own knives because we were there for Thanksgiving, but I could easily have relied on what they had on site. It is close to the lake and the views were stunning with a fresh coating of snow. I would rent this place again.

Beautiful views
Lovely cabin with gorgeous Lake Tahoe views. We were comfortable, the house is huge and with enough beds for families with kids. The only draw back as mentioned in another review was that the upstairs bedroom is not completely enclosed (there is a partial wall on one side). Plus you share the bathroom with the kids area. Otherwise perfect getaway house.
