Absolutely Wonderful Home Near Skiing

I rented this home for 6 days between Christmas and New Years for our family of 8 ranging in age from 71 (me) to 3 yrs old. The house was nice and warm when we arrived. Everything was in good working order and the kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub in 35 degree weather! We were 5 minutes away from Granlibakken for sledding. I would return here in a heart beat.

This house was beautiful inside with great amenities. The backyard patios, furniture, and hot tub were great. The lot itself was large and beautiful. What I did not like about the property is that some of the front deck rails had rotted and were broken, so the deck was closed off with mesh with signs advising us not to lean on the rails. My feeling is that this was a relatively simple, but costly repair. I had grandkids, so we could not use the front decks. I would not consider this place as being walkable to Tahoe City, unless you are in good shape. It’s about 1.5 miles to downtown. Fix the deck railings, and I have no complaints. Again, this is a beautiful home on a beautiful lot.

Beautiful home. Well stocked kitchen. Enjoyed our stay. Only suggestion would be that upstairs bonus room bedroom had a strong dog smell and blankets were dirty. Also we wished there was a full size couch instead of just chairs and one loveseat. But overall we were pleased.

Quality Time with the Family

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights during our wedding weekend with our 2 year old, my sisters, and their families/kids. This property was wonderful! A very convenient location to downtown TC, Sunnyside and the best of the West Shore. The kids loved playing in the separate living area…which is really a kids wing of the house with living room, game closet and bedroom. We enjoyed the hot tub, outdoor space and cozy downstairs living room. The master bedroom is immediately inside the front door and adjacent to the garage which did make the temperature cooler than the rest of the house but it was not an issue for us. FYI they do not allow early check in requests. Highly recommend this property for quality family time!

Cozy Comfortable and Calming

A home away from home

Walking distance to town. Clean, roomy and comfortable . Had some problems with a non working toilet and locked spa but a quick call to the cabin’s management company and the problem was solved…very fast response time was so appreciated..

Fantastic Tahoe Getaway

This is a really fantastic property. The home feels cozy and is in a perfect location . . . close to Tahoe City and Sunnyside. Peaceful neighborhood and the backyard is really great with the porch and hot tub. The inside has a real Tahoe feel to it and has everything you need. As the listing states, the house does not have A/C so with the smoke from the wildfires and high temps the house does get warm and you can’t filter the smoke. That’s the only downside. But the upsides to this home make it a really amazing rental.

Perfect for family vacation

Beautiful location, easy access. Clean and well maintained. Two bikes in the garage for use were very handy! Great for our group of 6 adults and could have easily had more stay with the amount of space available.

Wonderful property and location

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is exactly as described and the layout works well for multiple groups and/or families with kids. There is a private master on the ground floor which worked well for the grandparents and a bonus room off of the kid's room upstairs, complete with games, kids books, and toys. The location was beautiful for staying around the area and convenient for morning trips to the North Shore. We really appreciated the ease of check in/out, communication with the rental company, and the advice on nearby activities from the owners. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would love to come back!

Great location, clean, well equipped, great layout!

We and another family with small children stayed here. The 3 queen rooms + kids room worked perfectly for 3 families and 3 small kiddos. The home was equipped with a lot of nice surprises including pack-n-plays and toddler chairs. The layout was spacious yet cozy. Would stay here again!

Friends getaway

This home was great! Very clean and very comfortable. We loved the heated floors in the bathrooms and, if you like to cook you will do well in this kitchen - added bonus was all the beautiful bar ware! The location of the house is perfect! We were able to walk to the lake in no time. The rental agency kept communication open during the entire booking process. We were able to get in touch with them easily during our stay and their customer service was outstanding. We would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful Getaway

Our adult children joined us for a 5 night getaway and it was perfect! We loved the comfortable, tasteful decor, comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. The location is great - forested neighborhood close to the lake and Tahoe City. Plus the entire home was absolutely spotless. We plan to return!

The world’s most perfect rental !

Perfectly clean. Well stocked with everything you need. So thoughtful and lovingly taken care of. The kitchen is a cook’s dream. Cute toys for our toddler. All the amenities that you might have forgotten at home. Loved our time there!
