Excellent location in the heart of Ortigia. Very friendly and responsive staff. Good breakfast with plenty of offerings. Lovely terrace overlooking one of the busy streets. Parking is best done by valet at 30 Euros/day but works very well.

Love this hotel!

My favorite hotel on my whole trip through Sicily. Charming hotel in a perfect walkable location. So much to see, do and eat right outside the door. My room had 2 balconies, was spacious, so clean. Super comfortable bed and pillows. So quiet at night. Great breakfast buffet. Wonderful variety, great coffee. The staff at the front desk are so friendly and helpful. Nice hot shower too!

Great place to stay in Ortigia

The hotel has a very good position in Ortigia. The room was well furnished, roomy and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would be very happy to stay there again and thoroughly recommend this hotel. Travel tip: you cannot get to the hotel by car. There is a valet parking service which allows you to drop off in Piazza Archimede, about 20m from the hotel. The alternative is a public car park some distance away.

Our stay was lovely. The small hotel was located steps from the Duomo in an old family home later converted into a charming and comfortable boutique hotel. The staff was extraodinary and made our stay special. Don't miss the amazing breakfast prepared onsite. And the barrista will make your coffee just as you like it!

A beautiful find

We absolutely loved this small hotel. It’s perfectly placed in Ortigia for everything. It has beautiful rooms. We had a large terrace overlooking the sea and views of Etna. The bed was super comfy with lovely soft sheets. The room was clean and the shower worked well. Nothing to complain about. The staff were especially helpful in every way. The breakfast was typically Italian with nice cakes and croissants fruit and ham and cheese etc.

Beautiful stay in the center of Ortigia!

Beautiful hotel, right in the center of Ortigia! So close to the sights and restaurants, as well as 5-10 minute walk to the ocean views. Everyone we interacted with from the hotel was so helpful, and the room we got on the top floor was very comfortable with a balcony that was perfect to watch sunsets! We also had a rental car and they helped make that stress-free with the valet service option they arranged as well. Would definitely stay here again.

ily run hotel. A very different experience with 3 dogs and peacocks roaming freely. Very friendly animals. It was fun watching the donkey and pigs eating their slop this morning. Rooms are large but structure very old and dirt road very rough when approaching property. Enjoyed some from usual!

Lovely 4 night stay in hotel Gilisto, room was delightfully quirky, first time we have had a full size pool table in our room. Breakfast was substantial and yummy. Hotel right in the heart of the action in Ortega. Don’t hesitate to book.

The location was fantastic, in the heart of Ortigia with a secure front door and someone at the front desk 24 hours. The breakfast was fantastic, the rooms a great size and very comfortable but what really made this property stand out was the customer service - so friendly and helpful, would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Beautifully restored and renovated boutique hotel in the heart of Ortigia. Our room was spacious with separate living area and balconies overlooking the streets. The reception and hospitality staff were very friendly and helpful. Large choice of Restaurants nearby. 20 euro taxi from railway station. Excellent !
