We stayed here for an extended period and while some of the staff were very friendly, the overall experience was disappointing and unhealthy. • Mold & damage: The hotel has a strong mold smell throughout, especially in the bathroom. In our room, there was an open ceiling space exposing wires, visible water damage, and mold. Even walking up the stairs, you can see mold in the crawlspaces. Both of us developed severe headaches and had to leave early for health reasons. • Unprofessional management: When paying taxes, the general manager was extremely rude and refused to refund our last night until I mentioned I had photo evidence of the mold. Two other people witnessed this behavior. • Poor amenities: If you expect standard hotel offerings (room service, onsite restaurants, etc.), you won’t find them here. • Location: The beach directly in front of the property is dirty. The nearest nicer (but still average) beach is about a 10-minute walk. Restaurants nearby are just okay. The only highlight of the area was the historic sites, which were truly worth seeing—but staying at this hotel overshadowed that. For the price, it is absolutely not worth it.

From booking to checking out was an easy and smooth process. ALL the staff were very helpful, friendly , informative, and attentive. I felt it was in a convenient location-iyou can enjoy walking ,it's only a short 10 minute walk- by the sea or thru the beautful store and restaurant lined streets. The breakfast was VERY ample and delicious. We only had breakfast so I cannot comment on other meals but can only imagine they would be fabulous. ALL the staff at breakfast were very attentive and accommodating to my sister in law's specific dietary needs as well Our room was SPECTACULAR!!! Sufficient space and VERY clean. The view ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING - great sunsets and sunrises. I mentioned in my booking that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and flowers and champagne awaited us upon our arrival. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND choosing your stay here, you will not be disappointed.

This is an outstanding resort hotel right in the heart of Ortigia, the beautiful historic center of Syracuse, Sicily. The hotel is full of light and you'll be mesmerized by waking up with the azure of the sky and the Mediterranean Sea in front of view, enchanted by the reflection of the sunshine. The rooms are comfortable. The staff is exceptionally friendly, professional, attentive and kind. Breakfast is delicious. An absolute gem!!

Beautiful stay in Ortigia. The hotel was very clean, new, and elegantly designed/ decorated. great service and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this spot to those travelling to Ortigia. It is also conveniently located. I would say it’s more of a quiet and understated luxury experience.
