Very spacious,magnificent view, all the sights within walking distance. Apartment a little tired in decor and maintenance, and needs a stock review (dozens of plates but only two mugs!). Only having one set of keys was sometimes inconvenient. But we had a splendid time.

The property was in a terrific location with beautiful views over the harbour. While it had a washing machine there were no instructions which made it impossible to use effectively.

Nice place great view

This is hard as we have never had to write a negative review. We were met at 4pm on Friday & shown the apartment & given instructions. At that time we were told the dishwasher didn’t work. Ok we can hand wash but asked they bring dish towels to dry. Also asked for a kettle to boil water. We were told they would be brought within a hour. Never showed up. At 4:30pm I texted several times & tried calling as WiFi wasn’t working. We tried to use the clothes washer but the power never came on. I mentioned that also. No response until 11 am Saturday. Management asked if we couldn’t see WiFi & if the washer had no power. Yes to both. They asked us to check the router which was in the top of a closet & we needed a ladder to reach. Sent them a photo. Finally at 5pm Saturday someone came & fixed the router. The dishwasher & clothes washer were never fixed. We hand washed a few clothing items. There was no hot water so we do not know how clean the dishes were. We left them to drip dry in the open dishwasher. We texted the manger at 9:00 am Sunday to let them know about the dishes & no hot water & left. This place deserves a more responsive management company!

Leider war das Geschirr und Besteck nicht wirklich sauber. Es war leider keine Kaffeemaschine vorhanden und auf Nachfrage stellte man und dann eine nach zwei Tagen zur Verfügung. Die Lage ist klasse direkter Blick auf das Meer

Wonderful stay in Ortigia ! Great location and lovely sea view. Beds, pillows and shower would certainly benefit from an improvement. The check out process is a bit annoying as you have to do it either the evening before when you want to be outside enjoying the island or the morning right before your departure when one is rushing to catch a train… Overall it was a nice stay.

The property is in the perfect location in Ortygia for exploring Syracuse. However, I would warn other travelers that the property management company requires an in-person inspection to check out. Check out is before 10 am, but they refused to do this inspection at 7:15 am stating it was too early. They refused to do the inspection without my physical presence there. So they required me to rush back to the apartment interrupting my last day in Sicily for an inspection at 7:15 pm the night before. Instead of sipping wine and watching the sunset I was doing an apartment inspection.

Spectacular Views and Quiet

We loved this accommodation! It was very clean, spacious, and had a spectacular view. It is centrally located yet quiet which is hard to find. Be mindful that it is 3 flights of stairs up with no lift. This was not an issue for us but could be for someone less active. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Loved the view off the balcony!

The only thing we would recommend for guests who are staying for a month is to offer new towels a few times per week. We loved the place for sure, but if we do it again, we may want to be on a lower floor since we are retired and my husband has knee problems. Loved the view off the balcony!

Very nice apartment in the centre of beautiful Ortigia-Syracusa with view of the bay of Syracuse and when you exit the apartment you are directly into one of the oldest streets of Ortigia, near the central square. The apartment is specious and clean with enough air conditioning and a well equipped kitchen. When visiting Syracuse (with 2-4 persons) definitely a recommendation
