The renowned Via Maestranza is the setting with its noble palaces. Just 3 minutes walk away is Piazza Archimede with the beautiful Fountain of Diana.

At 5 minutes you reach Piazza Duomo with its spectacular baroque cathedral, and what about the Jewish quarter of Giudecca just a few steps away where you can immerse yourself in its unique atmosphere.

You'll find everything at your fingertips; the choreographic market, temple of Apollo and then the magnificent Maniace castle. Also 50 meters away you can walk to the solarium, where you can cool off in the crystal clear waters and bask under the glorious sun of Sicily, comfortably tasting thirst-quenching drinks.

Entering the suite will welcome you a delightful living room with bathroom and sofa bed. Followed by a dining area and kitchen overlooking a private courtyard where you can relax.

Modern comfort with old world charm

Syracuse is an ancient city rich in history, culture and architecture and Ortigia is its heart. This apartment is perfectly located to experience all of it. The area is very walkable. Plus, the sea is just a short stroll away! The apartment is decorated in bright Mediterranean colors that make it feel airy and light. It has every amenity that you can imagine. We loved that there were screens on the windows so that we could open them for the sea breezes. (No other historic apartment that we stayed in had screens.) The greatest asset is Rosanna, the host. She is generous, thoughtful, and genuinely wants to help you have the best possible experience in Ortigia. We began as strangers and left feeling like we have a new friend. We heartily recommend Ortigia Dreaming!

A Lovely Stay in Ortigia

We loved our stay at Ortigia Dreaming. We had a group of 6 that stayed for one week. Rossana was amazing. From the time we booked to after we left, she was very responsive. She provided us with all the information we needed and even help with arranging parking, local tours, and dinner reservations. I would highly recommend booking here if you want to stay in the heart of Ortigia.
