Retreat Getaway for Silver Sisters!

Our group of 6 “50/60 somethings” enjoyed a relaxing retreat-like getaway for two nights at this lovely property. It was beautifully decorated, well-maintained, with the amenities we needed for our “silver-girls-getaway!” No complaints, no concerns, no complications—just a nice, quiet, break in the woods! We’re already looking at dates to come back again!

Wedding party

I rented this house for a place for all my guys to get ready for my wedding. Absolutely beautiful house. Would stay here again. Only issue I had was the pop was not in operation, which is not the owners fault but didn’t get notified until the Tuesday before the weekend I was staying. Main reason for booking this house was for the pool. However, gorgeous house and location.

5 Stars Aren’t Enough!

Excellent, clean, handicap accessible home with everything you need right where you are. Wheelchair friendly, baby friendly, toddler friendly, kid friendly, adult friendly! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back. On site pool, fire pit, play areas, lots of beautiful wildlife, etc. Host answered everything immediately and was so kind and helpful throughout booking and stay.

Miscommunication ended our stay

While the house itself is beautiful, it was sparsely furnished and had no extra towels or blankets available. The property around the house was much smaller than the picture indicates and was boggy with standing water, making the outside grass unuseable. My son's wedding party was staying at the house and had a reservation through Monday to accommodate travel plans. On Sunday, several out of town family members trickled by to say goodbye and give well wishes. Unfortunately, this put the number of people on property over the guest count and the owner called the sheriff and had everyone evicted. The bride and groom and our other family members had to scramble to find places for everyone staying there on Sunday night at the last minute. This was a group of mature adults and I feel the property manager could have handled the situation with more grace.

Ideal group setting

Really enjoyed the space. We were multiple families of a girl's club lacrosse team from out of state. The kitchen was large, and we used the grill outside for dinner. The girls had room to hang out together in the loft. We thought we would use the pool, but in the end, we didn't. Nice to have it, just in case. There are restaurants and grocery stores nearby in Eldersburg or Owings Mills. We would definitely stay again.

Birthday Weekend getaway

I spent my birthday weekend at the wonderful casa Blanca and it was the best decision ever. If your looking for a place that secluded enough but also near everything than this is the place for you. The host were wonderful they responded to my questions in a timely matter and made me feel comfortable throughout my stay. I would like to add if your planning on cooking you might want to bring your own pot and pans cause there is a limited amount but other than that I highly recommend and can’t to book again in the future.
