Our room was very noisy, it was an interconnected room. Next to a room where we could hear one of the guests vomiting all night. Surprised for a four star hotel there was no complimentary bottled water in room. We visited on school Holiday weekend and it seemed staff were stretched, bar tables were dirty and it was poorly staffed at bar. Otherwise hotel was in fabulous location in blue mountains with great access to a lovely bush walk.

The food choices were poor. The quality of the food was below average. I did not enjoy the food. The staff were wonderful. The room was clean but there were no tissues in the room. The property itself is beautiful but it is run down and needs some love - for instance the fountain outside the spa is not working. The abstract art on the wall in the hall to the elevator should be replaced with some beautiful scenery paintings or prints of the blue mountains area.

Great stay

After hearing a lot of negative comments about this place I was apprehensive at first. On arrival we were greeted by fantastic staff, pleasant and friendly. It was a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was fine, the rooms were fine but yes the place could do with a bit of a refurb and some money spending to update the place. The hotel really did go above and beyond for our family.
