Idyllic thatched cottage with sea view

This carefully restored villa with a thatched roof from 1860 is located on the eastern part of the island of Langeland and offers a fantastic panoramic view of the fields all the way to the neighboring island of Ærø. An idyllic place in the middle of nature, with direct access to the sea and tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac – a real natural gem.



On the ground floor, there is a spacious kitchen with a long dining table for shared meals, a cozy living room with a fireplace, and a bedroom and bathroom. The upper floor surprises with an open, bright living room with exposed beams and offers a wonderful panoramic view and two additional bedrooms.



The large wooden terrace and balcony invite you to relax – perfect for relaxing moments from breakfast to sunset. The spacious garden has a sandpit and outdoor games for little explorers, while you can enjoy the peace and quiet. A special highlight is the sauna in the garden – with sweeping views of fields and the sea. After your sauna, you can relax in comfortable garden furniture, while the surrounding nature creates a very special atmosphere.



The secluded natural beach is just a few steps away and is perfect for swimming, surfing, kayaking, or fishing. In ten minutes by bike, you can reach shops and a bakery for your morning supplies.
The vacation home has an array of amenities, including a washing machine, a fireplace, and a balcony. Guests can enjoy a TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include an oven, a coffee maker, and a dishwasher.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem besonder...

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem besonderen Haus. Es ist sehr gemütlich und ausgesprochen geschmackvoll eingerichtet – man spürt die Liebe zum Detail und fühlt sich sofort wohl. Für uns als Familie war die Aufteilung perfekt: Die Kinder hatten ihre eigene Etage, was allen viel Raum und Ruhe gegeben hat. Die Sauna mit Blick aufs Meer war ein echtes Highlight, vor allem im Winter, und der Kamin hat die Abende wunderbar stimmungsvoll gemacht. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns auch die Hilfsbereitschaft vor Ort: Nach starkem Schneefall wurde die einzige Zufahrtsstraße vom Nachbarn mit seinem Traktor freigeräumt – das war alles andere als selbstverständlich und hat unseren Aufenthalt sehr positiv geprägt. Ein Ort, an den wir gerne zurückkehren würden.
