Beautiful house, clean, warm. Steep driveway is indeed tough to navigate in snow, and there are no steps up the 20-vertical-ft hill from the street to the house. House has many great amenities, e.g. waffle iron and Keurig, not mentioned in listing.

My friends and I had a great time staying here and enjoying a girls weekend. Everything was very easy, clearly laid out with great directions, etc. Were very appreciative and would definitely recommend!

Relax in the woods

The House fit our family well. Everyone felt comfortable there and could relax and enjoy nature and each other. We had a bear get into the trash overnight, and the team was very responsive in fixing the bear container for the trash.

Great family getaway!

We were so lucky to find this listings relatively last-minute for a 5 day trip out to Deep Creek. Everything was exactly as pictured and then some! It was great to have multiple rolls of toilet paper, a new paper towel roll, complimentary dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent, and hand soap for use! These seem simple but I've been in enough rentals where I have needed to bring literally everything possible. Only minor nuisance was having to communicate through a whole separate system via Vacasa vs just staying through VRBO due to the rental agency. I was initially only given the access code via text message and then somehow lost it, so I needed.to call and have it re-sent. Other than that, all information we would possibly need was provided. We made use of the available dock slip during the week which was a driving factor for choosing this rental. The grill and hot tub were also both in working order!

Tall pines

House was very clean and well stocked with everything you need. Sheets and blankets were spotless and towels were plentiful. Location was perfect. Quiet neighborhood. Good fishing off of the private dock. Short drive to all activities on the lake including boat rental and Wisp ski resort. The hot tub was so relaxing after a busy day! I only have one negative thing to report. The outdoor fireplace was not in working order. Full tank of propane, but wouldn't light. Maybe just a bad regulator? I would DEFINITELY stay at this home again.

Perfect Family Getaway

This was our first family weekend getaway (blended family) and it was perfect. The house was clean and cozy. The location is PERFECT. Close to just about anything you need and want. Great amenities. Games for the children (that we didn’t realize til the night before we were to check out, but that’s our fault because we didn’t look in the closet. Kitchen is stocked with utensils and cookware. The fire pit is a definite plus! We brought our grilling kit to grill but unfortunately we’re unable to because it looked as if the grill hadn’t t been cleaned in a LONG WHILE. So, we just threw the hot dogs in the oven for the kids. No biggie for US, but maybe for another family. I do wish we could have turned the ac down a bit more because we were a bit hot as it was a scorcher of a weekend. But all-in-all, we loved the house and would definitely return. Vacasa’s staff is also very responsive. Will definitely rent from them again. Perhaps they’ll be our choice when we do our annual Disney trips if they have homes in the Orlando area.

Three Generations

Great location for our family mini-vacation. Chose this location as it included a dock slip. We enjoyed the three level home due to one of our party working remotely and there also being an infant. Would recommend.

Great size house but some upgrades needed

The house was very clean when we arrived. Plenty of room for all of us. Lake within walking distance of the house. We loved the decks and how peaceful and quiet it was in the surrounding woods. We didn’t have a boat, but appreciated have our own dock if we wanted to rent one. One of the big problems we had was the air conditioning unit stopped working properly, which made for some very hot nights of sleeping. We worked with property manager to try to solve the issue, but it wasn’t a quick fix and the problem couldn’t be resolved while we were there. We also noticed the refrigerator didn’t quite keep things cold. With a few fixes, we would probably stay there again.

A lovely quiet place not far from Deep Creek State Park

Our visit involved 3 generations in our family, from a 2 year old to 74 year olds. The place was wonderfully spacious and had useful, sturdy furniture throughout the home. The kitchen was easy to use with just about everything one could need. The whirlpool was enjoyed by the 30 -year olds; the deck was enjoyed by everyone. It was very clean, with nice beds, nice sheets, nice towels and plenty of them. We were happy with the short drive to the sandy beach at the State Park, and we all hope we can visit this property at another time.

Perfect wooded, cozy vibe

Perfect property for our ladies getaway. Exceptionally clean, kitchen had most everything we needed, beautiful two story living room, private, and proximity to restaurants. Very pleased and hope to return again.
