We enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed our stay! I was aware the house was outdated but had no idea there was no ac. Fortunately the weather was great. Some days it was to hot inside. On those day when we cooked our meals, it was to much. The nights were lovely. It was cool and rainy. The house was clean. The only thing was the dinning room table had a cover on top that had a terrible smell. We would definitely stay here again.

Great relaxing getaway with excellent water access

This property has a number of excellent features: 1) dock quality - since we brought our fishing boat we were very glad to see how nice the dock was - it even had night lights making late boat returns easy; 2) house proximity to the shoreline - this house is a gently sloped short distance from the house to the dock - a feature not common among many houses at Deep Creek; 3) location on the lake - this is on the south side of the lake with a LOT less boat traffic than the north end AND you get a sunset view. 10 min from a bait shop; 4) owner provides firewood and washer/dryer facilities - really nice - thank you. They clearly state you need your own kindling which we brought. The fire ring, chairs, tiki torches and long handled marshmallow roasters were very nice. 5) large functional hot tub although we did not use it. 6) the driveway is big enough to turn around a boat trailer - this is in direct contrast with many many properties that are perched hillside with miniscule parking areas. a HUGE plus. 7.) The house and yard were very clean. This house is actively being updated (new roof, windows, siding) but the interior is dated. The kitchen, although fully functional and very well stocked with dishes and cookware does need a makeover. Nonetheless, we would book this house again. Forgot to mention - Wifi worked well.
