You will be staying just a three minute stroll from the beautiful golden sandy expanse of Caswell Bay Beach. Located in an official Area of Outstanding Beauty, Caswell Bay has clear waters, soft golden sand, caves and rock pools - plenty for all ages to enjoy and explore.

You'll have everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay at Caswell Bay Chalet. Located just a short walk from the beach, you can enjoy a dip in the bay and a sunbathe on the golden sands without the hassle or worry of parking or travelling to the beach. It's virtually on your doorstep, which means it's great for enjoying the coast but also being able to pop back for lunch, nap time or a bit of quiet time. With the patio directly outside the front door, you'll use this as an extra room in good weather and can enjoy the all day sunshine it captures! Perfect for a coffee in the morning or a wine at sunset.

The chalet itself, which has been recently renovated, is cute, cosy and compact and has everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. The two bedrooms are bright and airy with very comfortable beds, so you can have a good night's sleep. The main bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom full size single bunk beds. The bedrooms are adjacent to the open plan living area/kitchen.

If you like to self-cater, the kitchen is well equipped with full size oven/hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, a range of pots/pans, cutlery, crockery and glasses. There is no gas in the property, only electricity.

After a day on the beach, you can relax on the comfortable 3 seater sofa or arm chair and watch your favourite shows. Alternatively, enjoy the peace and tranquility of the patio to read your book or play a board game.

You'll find it easy to wash the sand away in the walk in electric shower, which is in the sparkling clean and modern bathroom.

Park your car directly outside the chalet, with additional short-stay parking for visitors located behind the chalets. There is step free access from car parking to the front door.

The chalet is surrounded by well-kept communal gardens and grounds. The chalet park is peaceful and quiet with no entertainment centre on site. The nearest shop/cafe is at the beach with a larger range of supermarkets, shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants in Mumbles, a five minute drive away.

You'll be staying on the edge of the Gower, the UK's first area of outstanding beauty, so the chalet is the perfect base to explore all the beautiful beaches and walks it has to offer. The coastal path, which starts at Caswell Beach, will take you either around to Langland Bay, Rotherslade, Limeslade, Bracelet and the various other bays towards Mumbles or, in the other direction, further along the coast into the Gower Peninsula.

Adjacent to the chalet park is the Langland Bay Links golf course, in a spectacular setting. The pretty village of Mumbles is just a five minute drive away, where you'll find an interesting and unique selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes. Swansea is 5 miles away and has all the amenities you'd expect in a town.

The positives: quite clean, super cute bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and location very close to the beach. The negatives: tiny bathroom with the lowest water pressure in the shower I have ever experienced. Bedrooms are quite small, so there is barely room to move around the double bed.

Caswell Bay Beach Chalet was a lovely little property on a quiet holiday park in a leafy valley setting. Clean and tidy with modern fittings throughout. Superb location within a stone's throw of the beautiful Caswell Beach. Easy access to Langland and the rest of the Gower by car. There is a bus into Mumbles and Swansea if you don't have a car. Top communication with Margaret the host. Would certainly use again. Thank you.

Winter Chalet stay

Fantastic location - a hundred metres from the beach . We chose to stay in a chalet because of the beach location. In winter it’s quite a basic living choice - bring your own linen and towels and everything you might need for cleaning your kitchen . Possibly a little overpriced because it is one of the more basic chalets and hasn’t be3n modernised but it’s clean and that counts !

We had a great time here. So we'll located. Fab beach walks and beautiful woodlands as well. The heating was really good. It was very well equipped for self catering. Mumbles town only a very short distance away for supplies and a bit of urban life. Very practical tiled floor was very cold, so if you go in November like we did, take slippers!!

Super break at Caswell

Chalet was clean and tidy, everything working as expected. One thing not clear from the listing is that you need to provide your own linen or arrange to rent separately from Margaret. Due to a problem on the Vbro app, we didn’t get the check in email until we were in our way so had to pay an extra £40 to rent which Margaret arranged at short notice. The chalet is well located in the park with outside space for eating when the sun shines. A big advantage of the chalet if you need internet connection is that it has its own BT broadband. We needed to connect for work occasionally and this was far superior to the provision made by the chalet park. Caswell is always lovely and even though the sun didn’t shine as much as promised there is still plenty to do!

Wonderful little chalet on an excellently maintained site.

A wonderful chalet on a very quiet well maintained - quiet site with a beautiful sandy cove, ideal for surfing (if I wasn’t 75 I would have a go.). Good site well maintained, with everything you need for your stay - Mumbles town centre about a mile and a half away. Cannot praise the site enough and everyone friendly. Would thoroughly recommend it for your stay - and for walkers the whole area is ideal.

Quiet chalet park. Other people they're friendly. 5 minute walk to the beach which the children enjoyed. Good amount of living space with all the appliances needed including games and books. The smart TV was a good feature. Couldn't use the toaster as it tripped the fuse box. There was a problem with the heater in double bedroom but leaving the doors open allowed the heat to pass through quickly. We would stay here again.

Fabulous beach location

The location of the chalet is amazing - a very short walk to the beach meant we could put on our wet suits and be surfing in minutes. Always hot water for a shower after. The living space is small for us and our teenage boys but we were out nearly all day. Brilliant also for walking on the coastal path to nearby beaches.

Summercliffe Chalet Park

Lovely quiet ( out of season ) park in beautiful setting. Glorious beach and surrounding area.. Mumbles is a delightful town and near by. Chalet small but adequate for two of us. It is a little bit tired and could do with some updating in kitchen area. ( hob and washing machine). Shower was rather feeble and if put on high it alternated between boiling hot and cold.. Having said all that we had a really lovely week there and would definitely go again although maybe to a larger chalet.
