We stayed here for one night on a nice hot day. A good pool area for the kids. The hotel advertised breakfast included however it was only a continental breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable and junior staff friendly.
Tried to charge me for an extra nights accommodation beware keep your receipts I will not be returning would not listen till I provided proof of receipt beware. I have stayed here before they have lost a regular customer I had 3 rooms this time.
Absolutely sensational accommodation. I stayed in the premier sweat! Omg incredible. Neat clean and modern. The staff were very friendly and the manager went over and beyond for any information I needed to know. Great pool area to chill and relax. Perfect stay thank you
Pros: - Free wifi (although extremely slow); - Renovated bathroom and new carpets; - Resort (outdoor pool, mini golf etc.); - Good quality and clean bed sheets; - Reasonably quiet air conditioning; and - Good sized desk for doing work. Cons: - No undercover parking; - Curtains don't block out light completely; - Very firm pillows with hard clumps; - Awkwardly located or insufficient power points; and - Very dim lighting (with all lights turned on). This was a work trip so I found that the slow internet and dim lighting to be frustrating. I would try elsewhere for a work trip next time, but I would stay here again to try the resort facilities if otherwise. The cleanliness of the room is also noteworthy. Edit: Just found a hair in my face washer that doesn't belong to me.
Looking from the outside and at reception you could be forgiven for not checking the room before you handed over your credit card.I got caught, room 53 is upstairs and is called a spa suite, what a joke, you pay an extra for the privilege approximately $25. the spa was not clean and looked like you could catch something bad if you used it,behind the door there was a long black hair plus two or three short and curly ones, the carpet was a disgrace filthy it needed to be replaced, the furniture was old and very tied and stained.I won't go on about the gents toilet at reception with it's blow fly's dead on the unwashed floor. My comments are about room 53 only take them or leave them your choice
Our room was clean and well presented which is the main thing I was interested in. Looked like the bathroom was freshly renovated. Had a look at the pool and gym area but it was very old and the gym equipment was totally stuffed. Breakfast selections were minimal.
We were allocated Room 39 we found the walls dirty, the carpet dirty, major crack in a wall, cobwebs on a window and the room very poorly lit with minimal natural light. The room requires urgent renovations and cleaning. We found the equipment in the fitness room non operational and requires repairs or replacement.
The service was awful. The staff were very rude, especially the woman who checked us in. Despite the sign offering late check out we were "Not Eligible" as we booked through a third party website (?!). We were told to "get back in line" when I approached another staff member at check in. Every question we asked was met with a "No". The WiFi didn't work. The hairdryer broke. For a supposedly 'family friendly' "resort" we were given no assistance or support with our baby. There was no portacot and we were given an upstairs room with no lift or ramp for the pram. The decor was very dated and the room was very basic. The breakfast was basic, I might as well have pored myself a bowl full of sugar. The only positive I have really is that the room was clean.
No idea how long this has been part of Accor but at best it's average. Rooms are dated, though bathrooms look like they have been updated. There is no bar or restaurant. The hotel guide says that there's a mini bar? But I'm not convinced. Having said that, there is 2 cans of beer and and a bottle of juice in the fridge. I think someone has left them and the cleaner just hasn't cleared the fridge. The tv is hard to navigate and the channels are average at best. Located at the top end of town, it's just a walk to the nearest restaurant or pub. If you're in town for a night? Maybe it's worth a try? me? I won't be back
For the money paid I would expect a hair dryer in the room. We also found the air conditioning remote tucked into the bed which made us wonder if the sheets were actually clean. Resort does NOT have a bistro nor a bar as advertised. It even says bistro and bar on the sign out the front but apparently this is only for conferences?!? We were here staying with friends and not impressed.
