The hotel is located in the city of Anyang, more precisely near Pyeongchon area and is very close to Southern Seoul including Gangnam area. You can use subway line 4 from/to the hotel and is around 4 minute walk from/to the hotel. You can easily find convenience stores, restaurants and coffee shops around the hotel. It has good overall amenities, very clean and quiet. Friendly staff, but there seems to be only a few staff who can communicate in English. It was such a pleasant stay!
Good location, only 200 m from MRT Station. Big room. Some coffee shops around and also has 24 hrs food shop near hotel. Convenience to travel to Gwacheon, Suwon or Seoul. Also have some shopping places around the area.
A Korean-style though slightly-westernized stay. I say Korean style because there's a small portsl on entering your room where you are expected to remove your slippers and wear the plastic sandals waiting for you at the door. There is also a second pair of plastic sandals to be found at the entrance to the bathroom. Things I thought were interesting or nice: The bathroom was interesting because the floor was inclined and the shower shared the same floor with the rest of the bathroom. The inclining floor allowed all water to quickly flow into the drainer on the floor. The water pressure was decent, but I don't think I managed to get water more than room temperature. On arrival, we each received a small bag of 'amenities', such as a razor, toothbrush, shaving cream, etc... As well, in the room on the 'dressing table' there were large bottles of previously used hair-setting gel, skin moisturizer, hair spray, etc. I thought that was amusing, as if I were using someone's room for the night The bed was very clean and fairly comfortable. Plenty of coffee bars and restaurants in the area. Things I wasn't too keen on: Noooo Wifi anywhere except for the bar/restaurant above the ground floor. No real chance of communicating with non-English speaking staff, though they were nice anyway. The neighborhood is slightly 'funky' at night, but only in a small-town way. The occasional rumble of the tram under the building. And did I mention 'no WIFI'?
Really close to downtown, cheap and clean. Price close to 50€ /Day No one speak English or even understand your "gesture" (I' m Italian, Usually I can speak with my hands ;-) ...) Rooms are large but only for smokers... No WiFi only cable
