This is a fantastic vacation rental in a great location just near the beach. The beach is maybe 1 minute away via a beach access right across from the house. There is plenty of parking under the house, including on the street along the side. FYI we were told to park there, but i got a ticket as i was too close to the stop sign. There is a barely visible yellow line on the road that means no parking. The house has plenty of rooms and beds, a great social space and furnished kitchen. There was even appliances like griddles, blenders, coffee makers, ice machines, etc. Clothes washers and dryers worked well. The salt water pool was very nice as well, alright i think there was some chlorine in it. There was even extra beach toys, cooler, etc for use for people, as well as a nice charcoal grill that worked great.Overall great stay and we're very happy, and would stay again.

It was lovely. Adequate space for us to be together or to get away from one another. Beautiful inside and out. Very clean. Close to the beach, walking distance to several restaurants. Just loved every minute and never wanted to leave.

Our kids and grands joined us for a beautiful week of fun and sun! We loved the location, the house and the community! Wished we had booked for a longer stay! It was delightful. The owners were so gracious and accommodating!

House of the Rising Sun was the perfect space for our large family! The kitchen was well equipped, and the living space was large enough for us all to gather and enjoy being together. It is also right across from a beach access, which is really convenient. The heated pool was also a plus since we had two little ones with us.

Great Beach House

Overall this house had everything we needed for a 5 day golf trip for 12 guys in the Myrtle Beach area. Plenty of beds for everyone and the location is great. Literally across the street from a beach access point. The pool was also a big hit and was very clean upon arrival. Parking was easy as we fit 5 cars in the driveway with no issues.

Great Host and Proximity to the beach

This property is very well located, and the host was always available and responsive with all questions and concerns. It was a family reunion, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I have never come across a kitchen so well stocked with everything needed for such a large crowd. I would say that some of the beds were more comfortable than others, but overall have no complaints.

Excellent Location, clean and safe

The house was perfectly clean upon arrival and all furniture was suitable. Located just one block from the beach, the location could not have been better. Would highly recommend for any groups heading to Myrtle Beach.

Family vacation

Location was amazing, house plenty big enough for 3 family’s. Home owner is very responsive and made sure we had anything we needed. Kids had a blast in the pool and short enough walk to the beach we didn’t even use the stroller!

Guys Golf Trip

Our group of 8 were on our 30th golf trip to Myrtle Beach area. This was one of the best homes we stayed in. Clean, nicely equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and easy walk to restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay in Surfside!

The house is beautiful, has a great layout with plenty of space to gather, but plenty of privacy as well. You will find everything you need and a perfect beach access right across the street! The host was very accessible and easy to work with. We would definitely recommend and love to return when we are in the area again!

Wonderful family vacation spot

This home was perfect for our family of 22. Teens and young adults loved the location within walking distance to the beach, the Surfside pier and Myrtle beach. Nice size fully equipped kitchen. Easy access for wheelchair bound spouse. This is our second time at this home and we hope to return!

Golf Trip Stay

The house was so awesome. This was our 10th year doing an annual golf trip and first renting a house. Sherri the host was so great to work with. Responsive and courteous. I would book this property again. It was great having everyone in the same living space.
