A beautiful mountain lodge with unbelievable views of the Khaosok jungle. This place is really a perfect retreat for exploring the area and escaping the heat in a pool that overlooks the mountains especially at sunset. Staff are so friendly and the food is delicious

Wow! What a view! The most amazing view from any hotel we have stayed in. Love every second of being there. Stayed one night in the lake for boat trip and then 2 nights here to enjoy a day chilling around the pool and soaking up every second on that spectacular jungle view!

We truly felt like we were in the heart of the jungle, with all the positives you would expect that to bring, and a few negatives too. The sights and sounds of the wildlife are inescapable and breathtaking, with memorable views particularly at sun up or sun down. Some of the facilities are at the mercy of the elements, with ‘outdoor feeling’ shower and bathroom. There were very minor communication difficulties around the breakfast ordering. The menu seems to be updated every day, and is a series of dishes from hot ‘Americano style’ eggs and bacon, to a granola and yogurt course and a fruit platter. The food was excellent, but didn’t offer choice so fussy eaters may struggle at breakfast. Navigating the property with its slightly precarious walkways and steps would be next to impossible for those with physical disabilities, but disorder a Robinson Crusoe type feel.

Amazing comfortable 2 night stay, the first place in a month with a comfy bed and luxury feel to it. Had everything you needed in our romantic signature view room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside was lunch / evening food service, not much vegetarian options / having to pre order food, seemed like staff couldn’t cope with a busy service even though quiet. Sometimes not open for lunch and not many other options walkable / around for food. Despite this we loved our stay in the beautiful surroundings would definitely recommend.

Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Shower didn’t work properly (only warm water. Dinner well prepared, and breakfast of a good quality but no choices. Staff were friendly and worked hard, but with very limited English it was difficult to make requests or understand information. Perhaps some cards written in English might be helpful as there were no booklets in the rooms.

Loved staying here for tours at the national park. The landscape and scenery is extremely beautiful. The staff were excellent; friendly, and helpful in booking us the tours we wanted and transfers to Surat Thani airport. Thank you!

Breathtaking away from it all setting

A true gem- it’s a little distant from “town” but after spending a night in town the previous night, I’d take the distance and unique setting over being in town any day. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Staying here feels like a breath of fresh air and was very enjoyable.

This is such an incredible place to stay - the pictures simply don't do it justice. It's quite a far drive from Phuket but the views are more than worth it. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and are able to help with day tours and any activities around there as well as in the national park for reasonable prices. We only stayed there for a night but we would have loved to stay there longer. I would highly recommend this place!

Memorable night at unique spot!

Stayed just one night here, which happened to be during a crazy thunderstorm. Made the night that much more memorable! Comfy bed and room was great, also loved that it was in a more remote part of town (we had a car). Only suggestion is to update the tents or give them a deep scrub.

A true tropical Safari camp! Upon arriving it was

Upon arrival it was a rocky start however, my daughter in law spoke Thai and was able to communicate our reservations and what rooms we paid for. Truly authentic food, one cook, believe family owned and make sure to order the fried river rock fish early. Definitely worth the wait!

Amazing scenery, not so amazing tents

Amazing location with beautiful scenery! The downside is that these tents have absolutely seen better days. I don't really understand why they set up tents instead of bungalows as they are now quite mouldy inside and will never really feel clean. That said, we did enjoy our stay since the location is so amazing. But be aware that the sleeping situation leaves much to be desired.

Fabulous experience but not for everyone. You are among nature. So expect sounds of the jungle. Also you must be fit enough to climb a bunch of stairs to get around the property and to get into your room. Absolutely memorable

Unique, Comfortable, "Camp-Hotel"

This was one of my favorite hotels I've stayed at. I even took a video of the room and posted it online for friends. Staying in a luxurious camp, or "glamping," as my husband called it, was a lot of fun. The staff was very kind and the food was delicious as well. Overall, the room was comfortable and the views were great, but I didn't give a perfect score for room comfort because the bed was hard and I'd wake up whenever cars drove up the driveway next to our room. I also wished there was a pool, but there's a big river nearby and an amazing lake tour about 40 min. away.

You get what you pay for. Its not 5-star. But the view, hotel restaurant & staff make up for it! The food was great. The staff organised a tour for Khao Sok Lake. The room itself is okay. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom was a bit mouldy (made out of bamboo sort of). Overall I would stay there again. We only stayed for two nights which was enough! :)

A spectacular place — the kind where the view alone almost justifies the trip. The room was genuinely next level, and you could tell someone, somewhere, cared deeply about the details. And yet… it felt like it had been designed by two entirely different people who never met. On one hand: beauty, intention, craftsmanship. On the other: decisions so baffling they almost felt experimental. Take the menu. 129 items. Which is usually less a menu and more a warning sign. As expected, none of it was good — in fact, it bordered on performance art in how consistently disappointing it was. A masterclass in how variety and quality are often mortal enemies. Lunch? Not served. Instead, you’re chauffeured elsewhere like a confused extra in a reality show, only to text your way back. Charming in theory, slightly absurd in practice. Then there’s the TV in the restaurant — inexplicably on, showing something entirely unrelated — like someone accidentally brought a living room into a fine dining setup. And the blue pillows… small detail, but completely off-key, like trainers with a tuxedo. Service had the numbers but not the rhythm. Plenty of staff, yet somehow too many mistakes — and the need to pre-order dinner hours in advance removes any sense of spontaneity. All of which is a shame, because this place is so close to being exceptional. Fewer choices, more care, and a bit of editorial discipline — and it could be incredible.

Next to Nature

The scenery is breathtaking and we loved the experience of staying in these well equipped tents. Thankfully the air con worked very efficiently as it was so humid. The bed and bathroom areas were very clean. The tents are a bit mouldy but I guess that's to be expected due to the weather. The meals we had at this resort were very good and tours and transfers were organized quickly and at very low costs. We did the private lake tour which was worth doing. The only thing the place lacked was a pool - if we had somewhere to swim, it would have been perfect. We did have an encounter with some of the wild life but again, that added to the experience and gave us a story to tell. The Khao Sok area is just beautiful and the people we met were lovely, especially the canoe guide we had down the Khao Sok river and the local pharmacist who helped us out when we needed medical advice, a taxi, sunglasses and bananas.

La chambre sentait la moisissure et un robinet fuyait. De plus, la tente ne fermait même pas intégralement. La gérante de l'accueil était très désagréable et ne nous a pas dit que nous manger le midi au restaurant sans mréserver au préalable ce qui nous a rendu en retard à notre excursion de l’après-midi. Une membre du personnel nous a priposé de manger à un restaurant à côté et s’est excusée mais nous a fait payer le taxi à la fin du séjour. Je ne recommande pas

Tämä verkko oli ratkaiseva tekijä huonevalinnassamme, mutta paikan päällä sitä ei ollut lainkaan. Kyseessä oli selkeästi virheellinen tai harhaanjohtava markkinointi. Ilmastointiongelmien vuoksi käytännössä koko päivämme Khao Sokissa meni hukkaan, eikä majoitus vastannut missään vaiheessa maksettua tasoa. Hotellin sijainti on epäkäytännöllinen, ja hotellin tarjoama kuljetus on huomattavan kallis (300 bahtia per suunta), vaikka matka olisi vain noin 2 km. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä, mutta ystävällisyys ei korvaa toimimatonta ilmastointia, harhaanjohtavaa huonekuvausta tai menetettyä lomapäivää. Kokonaisuutena kokemus oli suuri pettymys ja merkittävä rahan menetys.
