We rented the lovely house that sleeps 14 guest. It is three stories and is right on the inter-coastal with its own dock. My son was getting married and we invited 6 friends. I did not read the fine print.
“Events, Parties, and Other Visitors: House Parties are Prohibited on the Premises. Any special events such as but not limited to: family reunions, weddings, receptions or anniversaries are not permitted at the Premises without express, written permission by the Agent. Special Events require additional lease provisions, event fees, insurance, and/or additional security deposit. Failure to acquire prior approval for your special event could result in expedited eviction additional fees, or other action.”
I am not sure anyone would rent this house that was not having some sort of event. I called the Property Manger when I realize we would be in violation of the contract. He told me we could not have a Wedding and they would be checking on us and if we violated the rules and we would be thrown out. Kind of put a damper on the wedding.
