**Things to Note**
Most of the year (ESPECIALLY WHEN IT RAINS) guests will need a truck or larger vehicle to access the property as the driveway is a dirt road beside a cornfield. It does get muddy and sandy.
The master bedroom closet is LOCKED for the owners' personal use as well as the front entry closet for our cleaners. Guest's will have access to the rest of the house.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 3.5 bathrooms, and a patio. There's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms and a dining area. Wonderful house! Dee (host) was excellent with communications and fast responses. Plenty of space for kids to play and the air hockey table was a big hit. The house itself is amazing, wonderful decor and spacious. Weather didn’t cooperate with using the fire pit while we were there (a little too windy) but it’s very nicely landscaped. We would definitely stay here again!

We’ve been coming to Holden Beach since 2011 and sometimes multiple times a year, so we’ve stayed in a number of different rental homes. This was our first stay off the island, and we actually enjoyed our stay. The house is absolutely beautiful with plenty of space and just a very short drive to the beach. Well kept and nicely stocked, we loved the house and yard making good use of the fire pit during the cooler fall evenings. Exceptionally clean and plenty of comfortable furniture. We will definitely put this rental home in our rotation of favorites!

House was very nice and clean. It was a little difficult to find at night due to how dark it is. My only suggestion would be to add a sign and light at the entrance of the small dirt road that leads to the house. Other than that everything was great with the house.

This property is everything it appears to be in the listing. It's a beautiful, large, spacious house. This property is so thoughtfully appointed. From everything to children's cups, plates and even a bib for babies/ toddlers, to a game room with air hockey table, and many others things to keep kids busy. Outside there are 2 swings In a large tree that our children loved. The outdoor deck with hot tub and tv was great for late nights. The 3 king suites with spacious bathrooms were clean. The kitchen is very well stocked, with a half bath and laundry room just off the kitchen. The living room and dining rooms are class. There is a separate living room upstairs with 2 leather couches with recliners in each end, and a large TV. House is set back a private lane and truly just a few mins from Holden Beach. We booked on a whim to find better weather and we were not disappointed. Not far from many golf courses, restaurants, shopping, in surrounding area, but much quieter and slower paced, which we value greatly. Will absolutely book again when in the area.

This vrbo is about 45minutes or farther from Wilmington. Nowhere descent to eat nearby. The location of house is very misleading. A long, dirt, holes everywhere, then a field of grass is how you get up to the house. Dee just a few things I can mention that might help you bring to owner’s attention in order to bring in more people, the upstairs is completely outdated. The furniture, bed linens, pillows, and the bathrooms. There were lots of Giant cockroaches everywhere and We really didn’t like that, and just spiders and bugs in general were annoying and everywhere. We did not get to use the hot tub at all and that was the reason I specifically asked that question of you before I booked. “Was the hot tub operational.” It would never get warm. So that was the draw to your location for our wedding in Whiteville on Saturday, but it was too late to find anywhere else by the time we arrived at your place. Also, the laundry room smell was horrible. My husband really thinks there is a dead mouse or rat in there somewhere dead. I bought a few smelly outlet plugins for the house, but I don’t think they helped much, So that left the entire downstairs with a very bad odor, no matter how hard we tried to get rid of it, thing worked. Thanks again though. The master suite downstairs was good, I loved the bath, but there was no closet space for us to hang our garments. That was desperately needed. Besides that everything went alright. Thank you again.V,rRhonda

This house is stunning. Absolutely beautiful and well appointed in every way. However, be prepared to drive 10-12 minutes to the beach. There is very limited parking by the beach and it costs each day. This home is located in the middle of a field not in a neighborhood. The driveway is a long dirt road with huge ruts- very hard to navigate especially if it rains. You really need a truck or bigger vehicle. If you are looking for seclusion and a beautiful home to relax in, then this is your place! If you are looking for regular beach visits, this home is difficult for that.

Hidden Gem

My family (4 children ranging from ages 8-17), my husband, and myself ALL VERY MUCH enjoyed this rental. The house was amazing! Not far at all from the town/stores. The best pizza place (Patronies) was across the street. A 7 mins drive, if that, from the actual beach. Yet hidden enough away from everyone that you have complete privacy. The attention to detail at the home was immaculate. Anything you could think of was provided. The kitchen had everything you would need. So much space for everyone. The house truly felt like home! Would highly recommend!!
