Great place at the beach

It was fantastic and the owners were so great to work with. Our original booking was delayed by Hurricane Debby and when I told the owner we weren’t going to come until Saturday because of the storm they offered to block out another five days in August for us. We ended up coming the next weekend and had beautiful weather. The property is totally renovated and upgraded and less than a five minute walk to the beach. Highly recommended!

Perfect beach getaway

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shore Feels Goode. The home was accurately described and communication with the property owners was top notch. This is a terrific home that is well maintained and in a great location. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a beach getaway.

Great stay!

We spent about a week at this property and had a wonderful stay! The house had everything we needed and the property managers were very responsive. The location is fantastic, with the beach only a few minutes' walk away. Would definitely stay there again!

Amazing Family Getaway House and Beach!

We couldn’t have found a better house to stay at as three separate families with three toddlers! There was a great space for the kids to play and “sleep”, awesome spaces inside and outside to enjoy as a group and individually, and the owners really thought of everything from beach necessities to smart devices throughout the house! The walk to the beach is easy and its a perfect spot - not overcrowded at all! I highly recommend staying here if you have the chance. You will not be disappointed!

Enjoyable & Accommodating

This was our first trip to Holden Beach and this house met all our needs (3 adults, 4 teens). Very nicely furnished and the kitchen had everything one could need for meal preparation. The Weber charcoal grill was great for grilling up seafood fresh from the dock. Great views from the 4 decks and a short walk to access the beach. An added bonus was the inclusion of linens and towels.

Perfect attention to detail

This was our first time in Holden Beach so we weren't really sure what to expect. The beach was beautiful and not overly crowded. This house was the perfect place for our family. It was super clean, very comfortable and the owners have equipped it with all that you need to enjoy your stay. It is a short walk to the beach on a very quiet street. All of us agreed we may need to go furniture shopping because the beds were more comfortable than our own at home. We loved our stay!

Perfect Family Vacation

We enjoyed a perfect family vacation on Holden Beach in June 2023. The owners of this property have clearly considered visitors' comfort and taken the time to add some thoughtful extras. The house was clean and comfortable for our big group - including grandparents, children and grandchildren. We had other family staying elsewhere on the Island, but everyone gathered here to cook and enjoy. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Great Beach House!

Our family really enjoyed this house. Nicely furnished, tastefully decorated with an “at home” feel. Both bedrooms upstairs had its own balcony, which was the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee. Comfy beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and kid friendly. Would stay here again.

Best rental so far

The house was perfect for the 5 of us. Very clean, attractive and well stocked with many essentials and food staples. The outdoor stairways are well lit at night with sensor lighting and all electronics worked flawlessly. We have been renting at Holden Beach for 10 years. Originally we all fit in the ocean front property on the East end, but as the kids have grown and our California family has joined us, we could no longer fit. We rented "Shore Feels Good" as an overflow and spent most of our time at the other house. This is the 3rd year we have had to rent a second house and this was by far the best of them all! We will certainly return next year unless plans change. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

Fantastic house and experience

Wonderful house - amazing condition and perfect for our family of 5. Very short walk to the beach access and the house has everything you need - hosts were even considerate enough to subscribe to all the streaming services for their guests. We’ve stayed in a lot of beach houses where the a/c doesn’t really get the humidity out - not this one. Cool as you want it inside. House felt close to new inside - so impressed with the maintenance and how nice the hosts have kept it. Loved our stay and would definitely return.

Great welcoming home!

We enjoyed our first trip to Holden beach! This beach house was perfect for our family. Lots of little details made the house ideal. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. The laundry was great, even had a basket for us to use. Nice beach cart and beach accessories. Close walk to beach access. Very clean and well decorated. Would definitely stay here again!

Holden Beach

We enjoyed staying here. The house was clean and kitchen was well equipped & modern. We spent a lot of time on the decks and in the carport which are all very spacious with plenty of comfy chairs. Our kids enjoyed the short walk to the beach and a short drive to the playground/splash pad. I found a few intercoastal channel fishing spots within a few miles/minutes drive (at the playground, at Sanddollar dr and at sailfish drive park).

Wonderful Experience

We enjoyed everything about this property and would love to return one day. The house was clean and decorated beautifully; it also was so well thought-out and included a fully stocked kitchen, a high chair, a beach wagon, etc. The owners were responsive and polite. The walk is really very short. I worried about this with two little boys, but it was easy. We ate at fun, beachy restaurants. Parking was great. The area is full of friendly people and lots of shells and shark teeth. The beach is big, clean, and not crowded. Thank you so much for letting us use your house.

This house is in great condition, and comes with so many amenities. The kitchen is well stocked and the appliances are like new. The beach is a couple of blocks away and is the widest, most serene beach we have ever seen in North Carolina. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful at night. We loved the stay and would recommend it to everyone.

Great home and great location

we thoroughly enjoyed our stayed. The house is all updated. Very clean, kitchen is very well equipped with upgraded items, stocked with basic needs as well for anything you would desire to cook . We had our groceries delivered from FoodLion. Walmart also deliveries to this location. Layout of the house was very nice for our group. 2 bedrooms and bath upstairs and 2 bedrooms and bath on main level. House was much better than the Pictures. Loved all the balcony options and relaxing under the deck. The location is great because the beach was not crowded even on the Holiday weekend since the beach access is private and not near a public access. Also love that Holden invests is keeping its beaches wide even during high tide unlike Oak Island. Owner was very responsive via VRBO messaging and text. We brought our own linens. We used the owners beach chairs, beach toys and grill. Would definitely highly recommend this home for a nice relaxing vacation with family or friends.
