Excellent course with incredibly manicured greens, best I have played on, despite lack of rain making it hard to get spin grip. Facilities excellent, staff very good. Pro shop too expensive though, I normally buy a shirt, cap, etc, as a souvenir, but for first time didn't $40 a cap for example, a bit greedy. So I'll have my photographs, and leave it at that.
My husband and I stayed on a 19 day play and stay package. We had a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment adjacent to the 1st fairway. The apartment was by no means new but it was in good condition and fully equipped which made for easy living. We had friends join us for part of our stay and we all fitted in quite easily. The restaurant / food service was very good whether it was lunch/afternoon tea once our round of golf was over or dinner. There are a number of good cafes, and two supermarkets, in nearby Noosa Junction, which is only a few minutes away. The golf course was in very good condition. It is a challenging course but playable. Take a ball retriever as there are a number of water hazards. The staff in the Pro-Shop are very good at fitting resort guests into the start sheet in what is a busy course. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return visit.
Noosa Springs welcomed my 15 year old son Max and his friend Cooper to play golf at short notice on a Saturday and they were treated well above expectations. I was really worried a course of such high quality would pre judge young players and discourage them and point them to another course. Don't hesitate recommending this course to any friends visiting Noosa!
We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment & really enjoyed our stay. Perfect mix of relaxation, golf & fine dining. The Relish Restaurant was a real surprise - so good we went all THREE nights. The units are spacious & very clean. We didn't want to go home!
We loved this resort, its large apartment-style rooms, bushland gardens, divine day spa, well equipped gym with new equipment, relaxing pool suitable for laps, great restaurant overlooking a Golf course and a function room above for sunsets! Why not a rating of five then? Breakfast from the Sunday to the public holiday Monday was a completely different crew. Apart from a friendly blonde waitress, the rest of the ambience was the polar opposite of the day before. A waitress with a clipboard challenging diners for room numbers and generally interrupting whilst doing little to ensure smooth service (except not noticing there were no sausages whilst finding time for re-arranging bread at one stage, really); telling us we could not charge our breakfast to the resort when we had done so the day before and our bill subsequently proved it; a generally surly person who was about as different to the other staff as the scrambled eggs were from day to day. And in a resort this size, surely a la carte is the best approach in any case (unless the surly waitress hates taking orders?) Consistency please, you have a great resort and all staff need to play to that standard. Would I recommend it, yes. Good value, yes. Great stay, absolutely.
Apartments 2 bedroom with ensuite. Great views over 1st fairway. Apts 822 or 826 would be the pick. The restaurant is excellent with good choice of food. Service excellent. Wine prices above expected. The golf course would be the best on the Sunshine Coast. In magnificent condition. Great spot for a weekend away.Highly recommended.
A mate & I enjoyed a 2 night stay including breakfast & golf in a 2 BDM apartment which we both thoroughly enjoyed. The apartment was very comfortable, clean & whilst we didn't spend lots of time in it, we were both very impressed with the quality & standard. The golf course was first class & out of our league & very challenging. We played just after the tail end of Cyclone Debbie passed through & whilst there were plenty of trees down the quality of the fairways & greens were outstanding. Both of us enjoyed a golf lesson with Peter who passed on some valuable tips that I plan to use to reduce my handicap. The resort was vibrant during the day & quiet of an night & close enough to get a cab into Noosa to enjoy. We were there from Sunday to Tuesday & would highly recommend.
We had 2 nights at the resort as a mid week stay. We were very impressed with the 2 bedroom apartment. The amenities were really good and the bed was very comfortable. Great shower and well stocked kitchen. It was a short walk to the restaurant for breakfast, (very reasonably priced). Lovely smell in our unit as they had reed air fresheners throughout the apartment. Unfortunately being mid week the restaurant wasn't open for dinner, which meant a 5-6 minute drive into Noosa for the evening. Not a big thing, but be aware if you/re not wanting to drive, then you need to bring supplies to cook your own meal. The spa facilities looked amazing (and again good value) & we are planning another visit so that we can book a number of experiences. Don't be put off by the Resort being a drive from Noosa central. It was worth it.
We stayed here recently for a wedding. The rooms are massive! we were right up the end. I would give a rating of 5 based on the fact that we got in late and the staff had to wait for us to arrive as our third party booking (agoda) did not pass on our contact details and we had experienced flight delay and bad weather. The gentleman who checked us in drove us to our room because of the weather, he stated it wasn't too far from reception its probably about 800m. Couldn't fault the venue or the service until breakfast at $25 a hit for pink rubber they labelled as bacon and eggs that were actually cold. There is no option for continental either as I would normally prefer just some toast and fruit. The rooms were pricey, ours was nice because it had an open plan living/kitchen area but we noticed others had an awkward wall through the middle that seemed pointless. It was noted that our room did not haev TV's in the bedrooms and our living room TV was smaller than others too. Not sure why the inconsistent across the rooms.... would not stay here again as I would opt for a more basic style room at a more reasonable price.
A really great golf course and should be played if in Noosa , condition very good even though greens had been aerated a few weeks back and I would think the course must be in the OZ top 50 so put it on the bucket list , back 9 a wee bit tougher
