A three day break was enjoyed here and if you can understand the colour scheme of the place you deserve an extra night for free. However a comfortable resort with all amenities and three good pools. Very well maintained grounds and friendly staff always willing to help. All units are privately owned but are roomy will all you need for a long term stay. Parking underneath is available and the location is also very good. Jump on the 626 or 627 bus services and you are in Hastings street within 10 minutes. The Marina across the road offers a selection of cafes and restaurants with ferry services of descriptions also available. Yes we would return here because the accommodation is price friendly and good value.
Have read most of the previous revues and believe a lot of people are too picky. Yes the property is not the newest in the area but the position is great. Walking distance to Tewentin and five minut drive to Noosaville. One does need transport to get here. For the price the apartments whilst small are good value. The walls are a bit thin and I would not like to be downstairs as it is almost impossible to walk light on the carpeted but wooden floor. All the needed facilities including laundry downstairs, washing liquid and powder required. Couple of teabags and sugar supplied but you have to self cater anything else. Parking for apartments at door to rather steep stairs. Staff have been helpful and friendly. 3 pools one of which was heated, shallow ideal for supervised children.
I recently stayed here for 6 nights last month. Overall it is a very clean and tidy place to stay. This was the third time I have stayed here. The rates are great and the beds are so comfortable. It has a great BBQ/Pool area. The Noosa Marina are just across the road for shopping/dining and river cruises. It is out of the main busy area of Noosa but its a quick bus ride to Hastings street and the Eumundi Markets which are a must to see.
We had a relaxing 5 day stay in a one bedroom apartment. The rooms were functional, clean and quite spacious. A short walk over the bridge to Tewantin where ther is a marina, shopping centre, Rsl and pub. Noosaville is a couple of kms away, then another 4 kms to Hastings street and Main Beach. If you don't have wheels, catch a bus which passes across the road on a regular basis or a relaxing ferry ride from the marina and you will be at Hastings street. If you like golf, bring your clubs and tee off at beautiful and challenging Coorooy Golf club after 2.30pm for the special rate of 15 bucks, or Noosa Golf club only 1 kms past Tewantin for 50 bucks. Otherwise, just relax next to the palm enclosed pools at the resort and read a book. Noosa Lakes Resort is a great spot for a break in the Noosa region.
Would defiantly recommend this place to anyone so relaxing and beautiful surrounding with the marina and river across the road ..staff are fantastic and place is clean and quiet ...Will defiantly be back
Noosa's has a reputation as a premier holiday destination, and its true from our first dinner to departure it did not disappoint at all. we had a ball. walking fishing boating photographer and a few beers of course. The lakes Resort was great. comfortable and conveiniently located. very comfortable. Go enjoy Noosa you will love it but take some extra cash. Cheers
we booked a room for our anniversary after being impressed by the pictures of room and the view from balcony, however, both the room and the view were disappointing to say the least. to add to the misery, the location of the hotel is soo terrible and feels like in the middle of nowhere. the name itself is misleading as it says noosa lakes resort but is faar faaar away from anything. it should be named tewantin lakes resort.
Excellent design to townhouses: upstairs is a fully self-contained, self-catering apartment and downstairs is a small studio. They can be rented separately (we took top apartment) or together as a whole family unit. They share a small laundry (with dryer) at the bottom of the stairwell. Each apartment is individually owned so prices can be quite different online with varying response times. We booked directly with management and they matched the price we found online. Three different pools, tropically-landscaped surrounds, very quiet (even when fully booked during school hols) and just far enough away from the crowd of town, but opposite the marina complex, so only a short walk to cafes and shopping. You would want a car or bicycle (can hire onsite) to get to main Noosaville drag if strip shops. Apartment had everything we needed except plastic wrap, foil and food bags or storage containers. We were there only a few days. You'd want to check if there is a sheet or towel exchange so you don't spend your holidays laundering. Comfy, convenient, we loved it and only didn't rate excellent as there was a bizarre design issue with bathroom door that banged up against the toilet lid every time you walked in and out. Other than that, perfect and very reasonably-priced accomodation!
Great spot in a one-bedroom overlooking the back lake. The room itself was well-appointed with everything you might need to self-cater and hang out. Nice sunset views and walking distance to local eateries and the river. Wi-fi wasn't great and had to use my own access instead. If this was a longer business trip the slow and intermittent wi-fi would have been a problem. The clean fresh room though was well worth the price for s short stay. First time staying here and will be back!
Great for family accommodation. The resort is a bit out-dated and rooms etc., however comfy and pleasant scenery and wildlife. Large pool areas and enough room for lots of people. Rooms are great in size.
