Pleasant outlook of trees ruined by constant road noise from busy road 3 villas from ours. most villas appear to be long term tenants but ours had people coming and going all hours; running the washing machine and dryer constantly causing steam and noise. The unit we had was smelt musty, was tired with dirty furnishings and carpet. The lounges need throwing out. The bedroom floor has a serious slope in it and the bathroom was from the 80's and needs a renovation without a fan that sounds like a jet engine.
We stayed here for our first visit the the Sunshine Coast. I loved the proximity to the marina and all that was on there. The local town (900 meters) has supermarket, pubs, restaurants, etc. I would love to return here with a boat to take advantage of the stunning waterways.
Wonderful personable staff at reception. Girls were very happy to assist us with dining choices and when we had a small issue it was resolved quickly. We had one bedroom apartment which was spacious and clean with attractive decor. My biggest worry when holidaying are comfy beds and hot showers availability. The bed was so comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. I was impress with the kitchen facilities. I had read their website prior to arriving and brought extra essentials therefore I didn’t really have any other issues. The Noosa Mariner is just across the road if I wanted to eat/ drink without worry about taking the car as those roundabouts in Noosa are let’s say numerous! Looking forward to visit here again. Might take up the studio as well and put the kids downstairs.
Despite requesting a room with a view of the pool when I booked 2 months ago, we were told on arrival, (receptionist said she only just noticed this request) that there was none. Instead our view was of an overgrown unkempt scrub, mosquito and midge ridden so we couldn't sit on the deck. First impression of the room was dank and smelled musty, evidence of two used room deodorisers evidence of this, obviously they had no effect. I read other really great reviews and wonder where we went wrong, was it because our unit was right down the back of the complex and owned by someone who didn't care whether guests enjoyed their stay? Because the towels were almost threadbare as was the carpet and we kept tripping up the step into the bathroom. Pillows were dirty under covers and flat and lumpy. Ran out of teabags too. People upstairs stomped around constantly, obviously no noise insulation between floors. Units are very tired and in need of a serious revamp. OK so we only paid $450 for 3 nights and had to wash our own dishes and put out all the rubbish, really!! We really loved the marina area and will return but we sure won't stay here again!!
Stayed here recently on a discount package. I found out studio apartments don't get a parking space which is quite inconvenient. Also discount packages can have unreasonable restrictions placed upon them which wasn't entirely the resort's fault. Still, this is a good place to unwind for a few days, very close walking distance into Tewantin shopping precinct. I'd go back again.
Best place to stay for a break. Staff are friendly and helpful, stayed in 1 bedroom apartment had everything we needed and was clean and quiet. would stay here again. Heated pool clean and relaxing. Well maintained apartments and grounds.
Noosa Lakes Resort is an amazing family vacation location. The room we stayed in was immaculate and self contained with everything we needed and a beautiful view of the pools. The management were so friendly, they were even happy to find some extra beds for us when we forgot to book them. The location is perfect, just a short stroll to the Noosa Marina with amazing restaurants and bars. You can even catch the ferry to the main hub of Noosa. They have the most amazing pools, the kids absolutely loved them! Highly recommended. Will be coming back for sure!
My wife and I wanted a relaxing, affordable, great facilities, centrally located base to explore the Noosa and Tewantin area for four days. We were not disappointed! Unlimited wifi too - impressive. The three landscaped swimming pools - one heated - are a real treat ....especially in the evening with the flying foxes flying overhead leaving their roosting spots. The only issue that needs clarifying with management - and it is a major issue- is parking space. Strangely, one car parking space is shared between two villas and there are limited overflow ‘visitor’ car parking areas. Definitely room for improvement here! Otherwise
My family and I have recently returned from a four day holiday in Noosa and stayed in the Noosa Lakes Resort. Our time spent here was great. Its close proximity to Noosa itself and being virtually across the road from the Noosa Marina was excellent as was the accommodation and the pools. The ladies on reception could not have been nicer and helped with recommendations for restaurants and directions to the Noosa Valley Golf Course too. This is the second time we have stayed and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. All being well, we will definitely be back ! Many thanks. Jim Wilde / Scotland
I stayed overnight at Noosa Lakes Resort in February while travelling for work. The room was basic; kettle didn’t work properly, nor did the fridge (both appliances are probably due for an upgrade); the living area was air-conditioned, but the bedroom was not, fortunately the cool air eventually filtered through to the bedroom. There isn’t much in terms of dining or shopping nearby, which was a minor inconvenience. From my brief interactions with staff I found them to be pleasant and helpful. All in all Noosa Lakes Resort is decent accommodation, but a bit tired.
