Noosa Lakes Resort

3.5 out of 5.0

Noosa lakes resort is one of the cheaper accomodation options in Noosa. Close to the river and bike hire available, it's a great way to see all Noosa has to offer. Although not close to Hastings street it isn't a far drive. Lagoon is great for families. Very quiet area with spacious rooms. Staff are friendly. Would stay again.

We were attending a wedding directly across the road from this resort, and this is where most of the guests stayed. We got a nice ground floor studio, which was more like a one bedroom actually. We had a view of the lake and found it to be very quiet, despite it being a busy weekend for the resort. The room was clean and well presented and quite comfortable. I wish we were there longer so I could have seen more of the resort and facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful and I did not experience and issues during my short stay. I thought it to be good value and would stay there again.

Older Receptionist declined to phone unit to advise customer her son had arrived to pick her up, saying "We don't do that" with a smirk and walk away, is not what all other resorts offer. Son had to bang on outer locked door to alert customer he had arrived. I have stayed at Noosa Lakes Resort several times and my son has never had that response before. I won't stay there again.

Overall we had a decent stay at noosa lakes resort. Its in a great spot with shops and takeaway places in close proximity, and the sunset over the lake is beautiful. But there are a few things that i feel need to be mentioned. 2 satchets of dishwashing liquid (and only 3 tea bags) provided for our 7 day stay and dishes are expected to be cleaned before checking out. Which i completely understand but i expect enough supplies to last the week. The room wasnt very child friendly. The shower hadnt been properly cleaned. Reception staff were mostly warm and friendly, but i was a little taken aback when the only suggestion for what to do in the area with a toddler was the cinema.

We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment, it was very clean & comfortable with everything we needed. The staff were all very friendly. Location was good opposite the marina. Shops not too far away in Tewantin. If I could fault anything it would be the steep staircase leading to the upstairs apartment - a little difficult to negotiate with for us over 60's with a heavy suitcase. Also we did sometimes find it difficult to reverse out of our designated parking spot due to all the greenery along the edge of the driveway - we weren't able to check for other vehicles clearly. But apart from that we were very happy with our accommodation.

I arrived on site and was met by 2 lovely friendly staff. I checked in and was given directions to my room. Well more like a small box with the thinnest of walls. I had the downstairs coop and quickly found it to be quite disappointing. It was like it had been transported from 1971. The sofa smelt and the bathroom was extremely basic. The whole place was noisy from Bigfoot upstairs who obviously was deaf as well as his TV was up full blast. It is a cold feeling place with no comfortable feel at all. I will never ever stay here again and will Not recommend this place to anyone. Not happy 😡😡😡

Noosa Lakes Resort is nice resort in good location right opposite Marina. Studio room which was clean and comfortable. Only feedback would be mirror in the room. We had issues with the microwave and when I called reception, someone was over in less than 10 minutes to fix the problem. Pools are nice, big and clean. Woolworths is 5 minutes drive with other coffee shops and bistro for lunch and dinner. We ate at the Royal Mail Hotel less than 5 minutes drive- nice food and friendly staff. At the marina would recommend the Sunset Cruise for $10 on selected nights which operates at approx 4:30pm on selected dates. There is also Noosa's best fish and chips shop on Hilton Terrace which was nice. Marina has nice shops for food, souvenirs and household items. Louise at reception was wonderful and offered great advice and places to visit. Overall a very nice and relaxing stay at Noosa Lakes Resort.

Location was great. Quite & peaceful. Pool looked great.Apartment had basically everything we needed, however the room is in need of updating & especially freshening up. The smell of the apartment was overwhelming when left locked up - especially if the windows were left closed. Serious dampness problem??? Musty smell all through the soft furnishings & carpet. Found it hard to get the smell out of our clothes & luggage when we got home. If not for the dampness problem I would have said excellent value for money.

We stayed in here for a night for a wedding which was just across the bridge so it was a perfect location for us. The room was nice and clean and everything we needed for a nights stay. The mattress was a bit hard and squeaked a bit when moving around but we still slept fine. Staff were friendly. Would stay here again.

There are heaps of positives to be used when describing Noosa Lakes. The location is very convenient for services, shops, restaurants and other amenities. The staff are friendly and the pools are fantastic with 3 to choose from. The units are well appointed and comfortable too. It's a great base for heading out around the sunshine coast and is equally suited to having a relaxing day.
