Noosa Lakes Resort

My family and I have recently returned from a four day holiday in Noosa and stayed in the Noosa Lakes Resort. Our time spent here was great. Its close proximity to Noosa itself and being virtually across the road from the Noosa Marina was excellent as was the accommodation and the pools. The ladies on reception could not have been nicer and helped with recommendations for restaurants and directions to the Noosa Valley Golf Course too. This is the second time we have stayed and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. All being well, we will definitely be back ! Many thanks. Jim Wilde / Scotland

I stayed overnight at Noosa Lakes Resort in February while travelling for work. The room was basic; kettle didn’t work properly, nor did the fridge (both appliances are probably due for an upgrade); the living area was air-conditioned, but the bedroom was not, fortunately the cool air eventually filtered through to the bedroom. There isn’t much in terms of dining or shopping nearby, which was a minor inconvenience. From my brief interactions with staff I found them to be pleasant and helpful. All in all Noosa Lakes Resort is decent accommodation, but a bit tired.

Receptionist very pleasant on checking in. A very long walk to my studio room (did not have a car). Room extremely basic, but you get what you pay for. It had most essentials, but you need to provide your own teabags, sugar etc once they run out. Deck outlook over the swamp. I chose to stay here because I needed peace & quiet after illness & a lot of reviews said "peaceful", "relaxing" etc, well try staying next door to 'Ol mate , (permanent resident) , I stayed in 427), 2 nights with no sleep, extremely noisy, foul language, intoxicated. Extremely thin walls and as I was on bottom floor the noise from upstairs was incredible, not to mention the constant noise from the clothes dryer right outside my door. I checked out 2 days early! However, the pool area is very nice, 3 minute walk to Marina, but you would probably need a car as it's a bit far away from restaurants etc. I love Noosa and have visited many times, but I would not stay here again.

We had a studio where the balcony was reaching out to a small strip of trees and a lake. Nice and quiet also given the size of the place (80 units or so).The overall setting of most units around the swimming pools was pleasant.

We spent 5 nights at the Noosa Lakes resort in room #412. Check-in was a breeze and we were given an upper unit. The unit was clean and tidy and the bathroom fittings were modern and clean. We overlooked the pool but the pool closed at 9pm and we were not disturbed by noise. We did however have a couple of gripes about the place; namely the room was only service once a week, towels for the pool were extra at $2.50 each, when the toilet roll ran out we had to buy from reception, when the tea & coffee sachets ran out we had to purchase from reception. Overall the resort is very good , its just the penny pinching attitude that worried us.

A three day break was enjoyed here and if you can understand the colour scheme of the place you deserve an extra night for free. However a comfortable resort with all amenities and three good pools. Very well maintained grounds and friendly staff always willing to help. All units are privately owned but are roomy will all you need for a long term stay. Parking underneath is available and the location is also very good. Jump on the 626 or 627 bus services and you are in Hastings street within 10 minutes. The Marina across the road offers a selection of cafes and restaurants with ferry services of descriptions also available. Yes we would return here because the accommodation is price friendly and good value.

Have read most of the previous revues and believe a lot of people are too picky. Yes the property is not the newest in the area but the position is great. Walking distance to Tewentin and five minut drive to Noosaville. One does need transport to get here. For the price the apartments whilst small are good value. The walls are a bit thin and I would not like to be downstairs as it is almost impossible to walk light on the carpeted but wooden floor. All the needed facilities including laundry downstairs, washing liquid and powder required. Couple of teabags and sugar supplied but you have to self cater anything else. Parking for apartments at door to rather steep stairs. Staff have been helpful and friendly. 3 pools one of which was heated, shallow ideal for supervised children.

I recently stayed here for 6 nights last month. Overall it is a very clean and tidy place to stay. This was the third time I have stayed here. The rates are great and the beds are so comfortable. It has a great BBQ/Pool area. The Noosa Marina are just across the road for shopping/dining and river cruises. It is out of the main busy area of Noosa but its a quick bus ride to Hastings street and the Eumundi Markets which are a must to see.

We had a relaxing 5 day stay in a one bedroom apartment. The rooms were functional, clean and quite spacious. A short walk over the bridge to Tewantin where ther is a marina, shopping centre, Rsl and pub. Noosaville is a couple of kms away, then another 4 kms to Hastings street and Main Beach. If you don't have wheels, catch a bus which passes across the road on a regular basis or a relaxing ferry ride from the marina and you will be at Hastings street. If you like golf, bring your clubs and tee off at beautiful and challenging Coorooy Golf club after 2.30pm for the special rate of 15 bucks, or Noosa Golf club only 1 kms past Tewantin for 50 bucks. Otherwise, just relax next to the palm enclosed pools at the resort and read a book. Noosa Lakes Resort is a great spot for a break in the Noosa region.

Would defiantly recommend this place to anyone so relaxing and beautiful surrounding with the marina and river across the road ..staff are fantastic and place is clean and quiet ...Will defiantly be back
