We stayed 2 nights in a 2 bed, ground floor apartment (apartment 16). The apartment was very clean and tiled throughout. Lovely views of the sea. As well as the main bathroom, this apartment had a half bathroom in an alcove off the 2nd bedroom, which contained a sink and a shower. We loved just being able to walk directly out of the gate from our balcony over to the pool area, or out onto the boardwalk and beach. It is in a great location amongst the shops and restaurants on Hasting street, and only a 20 minute walk along the boardwalk to the national park. The pool was lovely and warm, and the Jacuzzi even warmer, which made for a very pleasant swim, even at 7 o'clock in the evening. A couple of minutes of walk away from the apartment at "on the beach" there is a small supermarket and a bakery, along with a couple of good takeaway places. Lovely place to stay, and the accomnoosa staff were kind enough to print off our boarding passes for us for our onward flight.

Our family loved the apartment, views, pool, direct beach access and location on Hastings St. The welcome basket was a nice touch and staff were friendly. Despite it being school holidays it was quiet and not too crowded at all. Would certainly return!

Stayed here twice now, and really love it. The apartments are fairly basic, but what you are paying for is the beachfront location, and the pool area. We had a 2 bedroomed apartment, only 1 bathroom, large lounge area and well equipped kitchen. You get a bottle of wine & mini welcome hamper which is a nice touch. Also, each apartment has its own parking space under the building, free of charge. It is located right in the middle of Hastings street, so perfect location. What I love the most though is the large balcony with furniture overlooking the pool area and the beach. All apartments overlook the view. There are only 30 apartments, so its a low level building. We had a great few days staying here, we enjoyed the heated pool and the spa. There are not many sun loungers near the pool, but given that many people head to the beach instead, in the middle of winter it was not too much of an issue. The pool is warm enough to swim even in June. Lovely spot, great location, great facilities.

Stayed in unit 37, top floor, absolutely fabulous. Very clean, superb decorating and views amazing. No lifts but it is soooo worth it. Central to everything and from my point of view the best accommodation on the beach. Would stay again 10/10

Our first holiday since having a child over 2 years ago - we couldn't be more excited! We booked at the Fairshore for it's location and self-contained amenities so that I could still cook healthy food for our son...and us as 2 year olds and fancy restaurants don't mix well. The apartment is a decent size with small bedrooms. It worked for us although I did have to stack some furniture to fit a port-a-cot in one of the bedrooms. Our bed was below average with a huge indent and we woke daily with sore backs. The kitchen looked great. What would've improved it is supplying basics like baking trays to use the oven! I had to use a roasting tray to cook anything. Also zero basic cooking supplies are provided so no baking paper, glad wrap, oil, salt etc. So in the end I did minimal cooking and found myself storing things in shopping bags in the fridge! The bathroom is very large and the shower pretty good although I wouldn't want to be a tall person using the toilet - my husband hit his head on the shower sitting down! We had a direct beach access room and the sound got annoying at times. After about 3 days a loud group stayed above us who loved moving furniture around. Housekeeping in neighbouring rooms is also quite loud. There was a crying toddler next door to us at one point which we also heard the entire time. Pros to this apartment - location. You walk straight onto the beach/boardwalk and have a pool at your disposal which is fantastic. You are a short stroll away from great restaurants and ice creameries and very close to the national park. Parking is provided (although very tight for anything bigger than a small barina or similar). We also found the front of house staff quite friendly unlike other reviews I have read. Free wifi is provided - although keep an eye on it as it drops out a lot. Foxtel is also provided although not all channels listed in the handbook and it drops out several times a day meaning you have to restart the unit frequently.

We spent a lot of time selecting an apartment on the top floor with the dates we needed only to find that we had been put on the middle floor in different apartment on arrival. After complaining, we were informed that we had only booked an "apartment type" and not a specific apartment which is odd as each apartment is extensively photographed with apartment numbers displayed for choice on the site. We ended up with the very scenario we wanted to avoid with noisy people scrapping chairs and stomping around on top and a multitude of young children screaming and running around on the lawn in front of our verandah. The decor was also very tired and you couldn't close the door of bedroom 2 as the beds were too big for the room. The view is beautiful, but it is not a relaxing complex due to the large number of young families who monopolize the pool and lawn areas.

Incredible location and view, apartment lovely but no air con in living area meant we had to leave bedroom air con on all day and all night (freezing at night) to take the edge off the heat in the living areas which were unbearably hot even in the early morning .... (unbearable) one bathroom probably a drawback however pool area is beautiful and the common areas are immaculately clean ... would return in a heart beat ... these apartments are expensive to rent because they are expensive to own!!

A nice apartment in a top rate position in Hastings Street. The apartment does not quite live up to the location and outside amenities. Our 2 bedroom apartment had only one bathroom and the second bedroom was small with very limited wardrobe hanging space. More suitable for a family with young children than a couple. A welcome pack left which was very usefu and appreciatedl but replacement coffee and sugar each day was unreliable.

On arrival agent forgot to email us after hours key details but a quick call to security at 1am in the morning soon had us in our apartment. Interestingly they said it happened more often than you'd expect. Apartment is in a great location but dated and was clean apart from the couch and bed. Bed quilt was stained and had hair on it. Couch had stains on it and complete apartment is in need of a furniture refreshment and orange tiles throughout the apartment need updating which would then get this apartment to the level it deserves and for the $625 per night we paid for our 1 bedroom apartment but with an amazing view and would then rate excellent .

This place is definitely not worth the price, guests are purely paying for location and that is it-which thank goodness was good, with the beach at your doorstep. On arrival reception was unfriendly. Toilet hadn't been cleaned and when we rang reception all they said was "oh, well the cleaners have left for the day so one of us will have to come and clean it" no apology. When the young girl came to clean the toilet, she had no gloves on and a bottle of spray disinfectant in her hand, she gingerly took the toilet brush and sprayed the toilet, gave a little brush and flushed the toilet 4 times and then left, without washing her hands touching the door handle and said nothing else. In the lounge there was a piece of timber which looks like it had come off the top of the blinds, it was leaning against the wall with a huge nail sticking out of it. Not safe at all with children around. And neither air conditioner worked in the bedroom. I would suggest staying elsewhere and enjoying the nice stroll down Hastings street to the beach, rather than pay the ridiculous amount of money for poor service in a run down, unclean apartment. Not staying here again, whilst we enjoyed our time with our family this apartment complex was so disappointing.
