Two couple stayed here at the attached Lucaya appartments. They are very well appointed and although a little on the old side are comfortable and clean. We had sea and sunset views albeit that we were over the shopping centre car park which was not a problem. We were perfectly located for nearby restaurants and shopping.
A friendly, clean and tidy resort with all we needed for our stay A bit to cool for a swim/sauna but it looked so good 😊 next time 👍 Just a 2 minute walk to the Surf life saving club and sidewalk cafes 😁
We stayed the 3 bedroom apartment no5. Which has a great view, but aged. The apartment that needs more renovation. The managers of the units are friendly and maintain the place well. These units are right in Coolum and not far to a great breakfast and coffee.
Quick 1-night stay on the way back to Brisbane. Perfect location at the quiet end of the strip but with easy walk to the beach and action. We had a pool/beach view and could sit on the balcony for hours watching the surfers and sea! Good service for checkin/out and handy to have a large parking lot underneath the building. Pool is small but fun. Rooms are adequate, but you won't be in them for long! Great value for money!
We stayed here for four days recently. The unit we stayed in was a three bedroom unit and was very comfortable for four adults and three children. This resort is close to the patrolled beach and sits just behind a number of shops, cafes and restaurants including Thai and Mexican. It is a short walk to the Surf Club and the Coolum Beach Hotel. The unit itself is set up well with a nice kitchen and comfortable lounge and dining area. The balcony is a decent size and had a good sized table for outdoor dining as well. One thing that would make an improvement would be block out curtains in the bedrooms as the vertical blinds don't do a great job. Other than that it is great. There are Air Conditioners is the living area and bedrooms for added comfort. Would definately stay here again.
Watch the small print with this resort. If you are staying more than one night, you need to purchase consumables such as tea, coffee, soap, toilet paper, washing up liquid etc. If you don't clean up before you leave, there will be a $30 cleaning fee. If you don't empty the rubbish bins there will be a $10 fee. Late check out is $10 an hour. Towels for the pool area are $3 each. The manager was very pleasant but offered no consolation for the TV not working properly. At $185 a night for Thurs/ Fri we didn't feel it was good value. Brilliant location.
We (two couples) had 5 happy relaxing days in the resort in mid February in apartment 318 which suited us very well Every day we enjoyed an hour in the the main pool which was around 29 C . The resort was conveniently located to places of interest like Eumadie Markets, Noosa and Budrim Ginger
Our apartment at the Coolum Beach Resort was spacious, modern and immaculate with spectacular ocean views. Hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly. A perfect place to unwind and relax. The pool is very popular with fellow guests.
We were booked into Unit 17 which is a large one bedroom unit. The unit was clean with air-conditioning and all the usual mod-con's. We were not inconvenienced by any noise issues. The managers were in contact before our arrival and were available when we needed assistance with the smoke alarm after we checked in. The entrance to the car park is via Frank Street. It is then a journey of 45 step to the Unit carting the luggage. Not recommended if you are mobility restricted. This resort is for the younger family to enjoy. It is a short walk of less than 200 meters to the patrolled beach. If you need to purchase supplies for the larder, it is a 20 minute walk to the Coles supermarket. Better to take the car if you have a large shopping list. There is a large selection of shops and eating establishments nearby.
We had room 18 for eight nights, double room with ocean views, top floor. For two adults and one child it was very spacious, especially the living and kitchen area. Check in was easy, the office was closed so we followed the instructions in the email to collect the keys and park underneath (we had two car parks!) and finished our check in with the super friendly staff when the office was open. Great location, only a few minutes from the beach and main shopping strip, restaurants downstairs give 10% discount when you show your room key. We were lucky and saw whales frolicking from the balcony on several occasions! The beds were comfy, bit of traffic noise from the main road, especially when the garbage trucks come early in the morning. The kitchen was well equipped and plenty of hot water for a couple of showers each per day. The washing machine was easy to use and there's a clothes horse (we didn't need the dryer) to hang stuff on which was handy bathers on the balcony. We all loved the pool, spa and sauna and spent time there every day. There was enough supplies for one night (tea/coffee, shampoo, dish washing liquid, toilet paper etc) so longer stays require a trip to the supermarket. Changing towels and linen will be done once per seven day booking I think, so ours was done after three nights. We loved our stay and hope to come back some time soon!
