Start your day in paradise with a freshly brewed espresso from the Nespresso-compatible coffee machine, enjoyed on the front patio surrounded by lush tropical gardens. With bi-fold doors opening wide to combine the kitchen and living area, you’ll love the relaxed alfresco lifestyle this home offers.

The fully equipped, modern open-plan kitchen makes holiday cooking a breeze, or take advantage of the BBQ facilities at the front and seating out the back for effortless entertaining.

The main bathroom includes a shower-over-bath, integrated laundry facilities, and access to the rear deck, complete with an outdoor shower — perfect after a refreshing swim at the beach.

On the opposite side of the home, discover your private Balinese-inspired poolside retreat. A beautifully appointed outdoor pavilion and cabana surround a resort-sized pool, bathed in sunlight throughout the day and ideal for both relaxation and family fun.

The rumpus room, located directly off the pool patio, can be transformed into a fourth bedroom by converting the sofa into a double bed (available on request). This space includes a 65-inch Smart TV with Netflix (please log in with your own account), making it a perfect spot to unwind or entertain.

Just an easy 5-minute stroll (approx. 400 metres) brings you to Sunshine Beach Village, home to award-winning dining such as Sum Yung Guys (Top 50 restaurants in Australia) and the ever-popular Fomo Café for your morning coffee fix. Wander another 2 minutes (approx. 150 metres) to reach the patrolled beach and family-friendly Surf Club.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The location is great, just a short distance from the beach and the national park. The beds were comfortable, and the pool was a highlight. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was clean. Communication with the host was good and they were quick to reply to questions and issues. However, there were a few downsides: the BBQ wasn’t working (someone came to fix it the following day), and the kitchen oven was difficult to use (we could only get it to heat up properly once during our stay). There was also no pizza oven as advertised (advert has now been updated). Our booking included a baby but when we arrived we had to go searching through the cupboards for the travel cot ourselves and then put it up. Cot bedding is also not provided. To access the wifi password and guest compendium you need to scan a QR code and have access to internet already - difficult to do if you are from overseas and don’t have mobile data. Unfortunately, we also had a minor pool-related injury due to a sharp pipe sticking out at the gazebo end of the pool. Despite these issues, the property has good potential and is nice and quiet.
