Kitchen set up was nice. Only complaint is there was no regular coffee maker, just a kuereg. They did have pods for the kuereg and one we could fill with our coffee. The host was very nice and helpful!

The place was clean and close tomwhere we were headed. The only downfall was no grill and no wine opener. Also, was not thrilled that yiu showed up at 8 am and started yard work.

Owner cancelled the day of my trip

Can I get a refund of all monies since the owner cancelled, I reserved on July 11, 2023. I asked owner about firewood on October 18 and she said that they would have firewood for us, and she cancelled me on October 19, the day of the trip!!

The plumbing was being worked on when we arrived. The house had a bad smell when first entered. This remained the whole stay. Opened all windows, but no air freshener was available. No large bowls or paper cups.We swept kitchen floor twice. Dust & grime in bathroom corners. Unsure about toilet paper usage? We were not there long. Only to sleep & beds were clean. Good location.

Lake Jocassee Family Getaway

Our family enjoyed fun-filled days starting our day with a cup of coffee strolling along the creek, going on lake rides or taking hikes during the day, and sitting by the fire in the evenings.
