The hotel was nice, but our room was quite warm. There was only a window unit and it didn't have quite enough power to cool the room to a comfortable temperature.

We loved everything about the airport inn! We stayed on the new building on a corner unit. Very well done remodeled room, beautiful sink and enormous TV with Roku. Husband went fly fishing, me and my daughter walked around the neighborhood, there’s a cute park with a splash pad and climbing wall a 5 minutes walk. Really enjoyed the nature preserve by the river. Had dinner at Dang restaurant and everything was delicious. The hotel doesn’t have a breakfast area so they deliver breakfast to the room the night before. We had breakfast sandwiches, OJ and Greek yogurt. The room has a coffee maker. Also love the hot tube we used it twice a day.

Good, inexpensive option across from the airport. Renovated rooms.

good value in an expensive area. This is one of the best values in the wood river valley.

Within just 3 min. of arriving and checking in there was a problem, I had booked a two night stay (Aug 4th and 5th) for two adults and made sure the room had two Queen beds for myself and my 19 yr old daughter, we had come to Sun Valley (for the first time) to finally take part in a big family reunion that's held every third year in different states across the country . I had a hard time finding rooms with two queen beds for both Friday and Saturday so when I saw the Airport Inn had just one room left with two beds for both nights I booked it right away however in the process of checking in and talking about all the activities that family members had planned over the 3 day reunion we were informed that the Airport Inn didn't show a two night booking but did show the Friday Aug 4th. I explained how important it was that we had a room for the second night but they said there was nothing open and we couldn't stay a second night in the the room we had due to it had been booked already. The next day they were able to move us into an older much smaller room with one queen bed that left us both feeling a little strange but happy too, this was an upgrade from the two bucket seats in the car we thought we might be sleeping in. Could someone look into this and get back to me please. Best regards; Jeff Barnes

I will rate this as a 2 star property. It's a reasonably priced option in this area. I would recommend this property if you are looking for a simple and clean spot to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful at check in. It's been mentioned in other reviews... they have a different way of getting you breakfast. You fill out a room service card for breakfast and then they bring it to you the night before and you put it in the fridge in your room and heat it up in the morning in the microwave. Sun Valley is about 15-20 minutes away.

If the hotel is the main part of your visit, then pay the money to stay somewhere with more amenities (which in this area, you will pay quite a bit for). I only wanted a clean place to lay my head at night, and this place nailed it. The rooms are a bit dark, but opening a curtain during the day solves that, and unless insomnia is an issue, the lighting at night should not be either. I liked the breakfast being delivered the night before to my mini-fridge, it was nice to wake up and leisurely brew a coffee and munch on a breakfast sammich before leaving the room.

So sorry the air conditioner did not meet your needs. If you stay with us again request a room in the 400 building if one is available. Those rooms are less than a year old and have newer ac units.
