The Residences at Sun Peaks Grand

The residences are very comfortable. I had a one-bedroom unit with kitchen, laundry and separate bedroom. TV in both lounge and bedroom, all appliances in the kitchen although the utensils are basic, large oven and microwave, coffee making etc. The room service is amazing and there were fresh sheets and towels every day. One can get lost trying to walk through to the Sun Peaks Grant hotel which has a bar and restaurant. I ate here a couple of times and was really satisfied with the service and food. Alcohol is very expensive. There is heated pools, hot tubs, saunas etc. in the hotel and the residences have the use of these (access by the maze of hallways) but I found them too far from the accommodation to use.

Second time we have stayed here during a ski trip. Lovely one bedroom suite includes full kitchen, a balcony and washer and dryer. Pet friendly for an additional fee. Liquor store, restaurants and market all within a block walking. Lifts about two blocks - can ski through village to them to start the day. Main hotel has the outdoor pool. Outdoor hot tubs also available at The Residences. Finding bed a little soft, and no check in at this building - need to go to main hotel - hence the 4 and not a 5.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom residence, which was really quite nice. Had a full kitchen including microwave and space to entertain. Two things to be aware of, some rooms can be noisy due to air-conditioning conduits rattling, the other is the internet. Found it to be a little hit and miss depending on where you are standing at the time, also it is open not secured. Staff where quite friendly and helpful, and having two bars makes it easy to get some apres in. Close to lifts and there are two ski lockers (one at each end of the building) making it easier to get skis out and back.

Our family of five had a great stay at the Residences at Sun Peaks Grand. Specious modern suites, comfortable beds, great housekeeping, kitchen and eating area; who could ask for more. The hotel is truly ski in ski out. We kept our equipment in the ski storage room downstairs and found it very convenient. The outdoor hot tubs were very nice(although on our floor only one of them had jets). My only complaint is the street noise level at night. We could hear every conversation from the street below(we were on the third floor). I'd recommend not staying on the street side but on the inner side of the hotel. Overall, we had a great ski vacation.

This trip our family stayed in the Residences. They are large spacious suites with full kitchens. The location is fantastic, just don't get a room above the bar if you are a light sleeper or have kids.

Where to start... Great access to snow, the residences are roomy, well serviced & we slept well in a comfortable bed. Our outlook was of the classic village, and to mountain views, beautiful. We had two issues which could have been problematic but they were attended to promptly by a professional serviceman - most impressed! Loved the outdoor pool& spas - yep a very happy family holiday.

We stayed at the Sun Peaks Grand residences, formerly Delta. Absolutely perfect position for ski in/out, many rooms with mountain views, but none of the residences have mountain views. Rooms are clean but not spotless, comfortable but not luxurious. Our initial 2 bedroom condo was tiny for a family of five. Thankfully we were moved quickly to a larger one that had become available....though the smell of stale cigarettes was hard to extinguish. Front desk staff are generally inexperienced and not locals. They are efficient but not overly friendly. This is the best place in Sun Peaks but don't expect Four Seasons service. Ski rental next door and 'valet' in the basement.... only skis/boards, no poles. Strange. Hot tub is small for the number of guests and at times no towels available. Overall Sun Peaks is a great resort and the Grand, not bad. Better accommodations at Whistler, but then you have to deal with the crowds.

Internet was too slow to be usable for anything. Put in a room right above a parking garage driveway at the far end of the residences and a very long treck in ski boots to pick up your skis from valet. Everything else was good but just way too overpriced for a one bedroom condo in that location. Silly waste of money.

Sun Peaks Grand Hotel & Conference Centre is a great accommodation. It is the best location at Sun Peaks. The hotel itself offers great services but it is also located in the midst of many more so you can experience a great variety even over a long stay. We stayed in the residence section. Our room was in excellent condition, very spacious and very clean. Every staff member we interacted with was very friendly and efficient in their job role. This would be my number one choice if I went back to Sun Peaks again.

The residences at the Grand was a great experience, the room was large and roomy with a full size kitchen and laundry. The mantle was an excellent experience also the food was incredible and the bartender made a mean Ceasar!! The view from the pool and hot tubs were awesome. I recommend booking with the grand for a comfortable and relaxing experience.
