We stayed two nights - so we had two half days and one whole day to visit the park that is 1km away. It is a photographer's dream. Take time to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. It is really quite beautiful. We rented a scooter for a few days to go back and forth. We came back to the hotel during the heat of the day to cool off in the pool and avoid crowds at the park. The hotel setting is beautiful. Rooms spacious, great wifi and air condtioning. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the garden. Great hotel!
Lovely and charming hotel on the water. Good breakfast, not very clean rooms but very nice. Worth merely for the wonderful setting. I hope you are not afraid of geckos, since there were really a lot of them!
It's beautiful in Thai-styled resort that very quiet. For room is clean and tastefully decorated. Staffs were very friendly and polite. I would recommend others to stay at this resort. Overall that perfect!!
Beautiful lotus lake view for each cottage, colorful rooms, comfy beds. It was a wonderful tour to UNESCO Heritage - "Sukhothai Historical Park". I recommend Le Charme and suggest everyone to go there.
Only 1 km from.entrance to historic park with rice field around this is perfect place to rest. Villa are clean and space. The swimming pool is small but quite to refresh in hot season. Personnal are kind and welcome so no negative point. Breakfast is sufficient . As only 70 rooms it can not be excessive unlimited choice but fresh and tasty. You can walk to some convdnient stores around and have outside good diner. One of nicest place in this area
As our booking was done via a tour group I think out room was a Premier deluxe. Other respondents rave about this resort and I agree with them. The Bungalow settings are tastefully done. The finish and eye to detail make this complex well above the average. Its location does mean that Tuk-tuk rides are needed but that is a small issue in its overall rating. You will need to ask about whether your room adjoins another or is free standing with no adjoining neighbours
Great resort with well appointed rooms and excellent amenities. Easy tuk tuk ride to Main Street or walking distance is about 20 minutes. The hotel is beautiful and well worth staying a little off the main street. The Pool is excellent, the breakfast is great and they will custom make your omelet etc. The bungalows are lovely and quiet. Would go back in a heart beat if I was in this part of Thailand again. Take your mosquito repellent however as all of the bungalows are over/near water.
Only stayed for one night (wish it had been more). The grounds of this hotel were really beautiful, with all the bungalows around peaceful ponds with pretty lotus flowers and lots of little geckos. The room was large, clean and had good bathroom facilities. We liked sitting on the bungalow veranda and looking at the pond in the evening with a beer from reception (careful of mosquitos, though). Breakfast was good; we ate at a restaurant across the road in the evening, which was also good. Only downside was the distance from the town - we were advised not to walk down the road in the dark. I don't think I would have wanted to stay anywhere else, though, as it was lovely for our brief visit to Sukothai.
This hotel complex has rooms placed around the stunning grounds with various beautiful views from your unit/room. They have planted and placed just hundred's of beautiful Orchids EVERYWHERE. The staff were very friendly, the swimming pool is good with free towels beside. This is not a complaint, but it is about a 10-15 minute flat walk into town, if you don't like this don't stay here, but you will be missing out on a beautiful complex.
5 of us stayed just one night. Staff efficient, we booked online and keys etc were ready for us and registration took about 5 min. We were in bungalow accommodation odd numbers were 3 single beds and even numbers doubles. All had delightful balconies with chairs and table. The decor was tasteful and toiletries and tea bags and Nescafé supplied. The bathroom was a shower with a zip heater which is standard but there was a divider between the shower, toilet and handbasin. For those of you who know Thai bathrooms this was a real plus as we were not always paddling around in water. The swimming pool was a good size, very clean and pool towels provided. The room was also spotless. The grounds had beautiful displays of orchids and water Lilly ponds. Breakfast was a great selection cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast, jam, muffins, eggs, omelette made to order, several vegetarian options of hot dishes as well as meat based soups and curry or bacon, eggs and sausage. We were a group of friends but this looked like a great place for a couples romantic weekend. There looked like there was a restaurant at night but we walked across the road and had an excellent although $$ for Thai meal at Soukathai Restaurant I would stay again at LeCharme without hesitation!
