Everything was brilliant. The people were warm and very friendly, professional and personable. Absolutely amazing service in every aspect - reception, rooms staff, restaurant and bar team, gardeners and security - truly wonderful. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The room was excellent. Our private pool was a dream of peacefulness. Breakfast was particularly good. A wide choice presented really well, and of course it tasted good. Afternoon tea was also a highlight - nice cakes and savouries which I didn’t need but welcomed eagerly every day. Moonstone Beach Club was also a really lovely and relaxed experience. Dinner at both standing stones and mood stone was excellent. Generous portions and tasting great. I will be back to The Royal Purnama. Thanks you to all the team there.

We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary at The Royal Purnama Villas in Bali, and it was nothing short of magical. ✨ Our Villa: Absolutely stunning — spacious, beautifully designed, with a private pool and a semi-outdoor shower that made every moment feel like a tropical dream. 🌴 The Property: Immaculate and serene. The grounds are lush, peaceful, and meticulously maintained — perfect for a romantic escape. 😊 The Staff: Truly exceptional. Every team member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. We happened to be here when it flooded. We were only there for 6 hrs when we woke up to the horrid smell of feces and urine in the middle of the night. It was raining horribly and our room was starting to flood. We notified the staff. They told us to stay on the bed until they could send someone to evacuate us. We were evacuated approximately 10 am. We had to waid through water that came above our knees. I know they no control over the storm but they refused to refund our money!!! Our stay was prepaid for the amount of $1866. The villa was beautiful when we arrived and in 6 hrs it was flooded and an awful mess. This was our 20th anniversary. They offered to give us one free night stay in the future. I wouldn't recommend this hotel/villa to anyone. They kept our money and offered up a piss poor apology. That's not how you do business. My brother and his wife were there and received the same treatment as well. Bad bad business!!!

Really enjoyed my stay here. Quiet, peaceful environment with really friendly staff. Lovely breakfast; really loved the mie goreng and their selection of juices. Only small drawback was a faint sewerage smell on the first night - an issue that resolved itself by the next morning.

Stayed in the Cempaka unit. It was spacious. Loved the indoor/outdoor bathroom. Breakfast was amazing. The on-site dining options were delicious. Chef’s kiss was being serenaded during dinner. Amazing location, very peaceful and beautiful.

Perfect Place to Relax

Most luxurious and relaxing place to stay! Used as home base for smaller day trips and to just be on vacation. It’s not centrally located for walking to locations, but they offer shuttles and drivers/tour guides are easily available and affordable. I chose it because it’s adults-only (don’t have to hear kids play Marco Polo All day) and it’s by the ocean/black sand beach. This place in itself is a destination!! Amazing large, comfortable rooms with tubs and hot tubs and open air showers. The pool/ocean/cabana combo is heavenly. Never felt more at peace sitting by the ocean from their cabanas. The ocean here is fierce so no swimming, but you can wade and experience the magical black sand and watch all the kites. It’s quiet , peaceful, full of kind and accommodating staff, has an excellent restaurant with breakfast and tea time included in room price, a spa onsite, dinner entertainment every night (many Balinese performances!), and another pool/restaurant onsite with a chill party vibe. Everything was absolutely beautiful and all I was hoping for. I would definitely recommend it and would go back in a heartbeat.
