Hocking Hills-Dog friendly cabin with private pond .. adults 18 and older

The Overlook is the perfect location for your next getaway! Our one bedroom cabin is furnished with all new appliances & furniture. Enjoy the full-size kitchen with refrigerator, stove, cookware, and dinnerware. We also supply the cooking utensils. We have many extras such as a microwave, a toaster, and coffee pot. The bedroom has a queen size mattress, flat screen tv, a small closet with shelves and a bench. The bathroom has a basic stand up shower (big enough for 2), plenty of clean towels and washcloths. We also provided a hair dryer, first aid kit and of course plenty of toilet paper! Outside we have a clean well managed hot tub, a picnic table a large fire pit and we can also provide firewood ($5.00 per bundle, delivery included). We have a gas grill for those who enjoy outdoor cooking (we provide the gas). There is a large deck that overlooks the beautiful stocked pond. (Please bring your own poles) If fishing isnt your thing then enjoy a romantic ride on the paddle boat. The cabin and all the included amenities are located on a heavily wooded 200 acre lot. We have hiking trails, I highly recommend to all guests that come to the Hocking Hills area to stop and check out my favorite hiking spot called Rockstull Nature Preserve. It is just 2 1/2 miles from the cabin and is the areas best kept secret! We are pet friendly and hope you bring your furry buddies so they too can enjoy a wonderful getaway!

**Camera is present on the property at the front door. Used to protect the property when it is not occupied, and generally help us stay informed as to the use of the property without doing an on-site inspection. Cameras are not in any hot tub area or area where you would expect privacy.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a Smart TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a washing machine and a coffee maker.

It was magical! We stayed for four nights, and loved every second of it! We brought a puzzle and put it together, we played the board games provided for us, we went hiking on the nearby trails, we baked cookies! We even got engaged on the side porch overlooking the pond!! It was such a wonderful experience through and through! Thank you so so much for giving us such a lovely place to create memories to last us a lifetime P.s. to the owner, we dipped out a little early because we missed our fur babies at home, not because we had a bad time! The hot tub stairs really need a railing. I made it into the hot tub with my husband's help, but it really was quite an endeavor to enter & exit.The other issue was the bed. The mattress is really uncomfortable and sags down in the middle. On 2 of our 4 nights, I got up in the middle of the night and moved to the couch because of pain & discomfort.Everything else was stellar! We love staying here with all the property offers. Thank you!

The property was beautiful and far enough away from the center of activity that we had some quiet time I was surprised that there was no door to the bathroom Also the refrigerator was full of crumbs and dog hair which I cleaned in 5 min I dropped a spoon in the side of the couch so when I picked up the cushions i found a ton of crumbs so I swept that too So other than working on my getaway we had a nice stay thank you

Overall, the property and cabin were in good shape. Everything was really clean and in good condition. It's on a really nice piece of land, huge pond, and just off the road. It's perfect for a couple looking to get away in the Hocking Hills area. If you're traveling with family or kids, the bedroom and bathroom do lack a little privacy as there is no door to either. Just walls. Wasn't a huge deal for us, but may be for others. 10/10 would stay here again.
