Lovely hotel. We stayed in Villa 2. Great view of the lake from the semi private balcony. The owners were very nice. Breakfast was delicious. We also utilized their laundry service, a bit expensive however the convenience was well worth it.

Rundown

The grounds are beautiful and the lake view is great. That’s it. The room was full of bugs, food was average, the bed sheets were completely worn down and like gauze. Then there’s the pool which looked great but they allow the locals and we had to share it with a group of teenagers. So the pool area was a mess and the pool needed cleaning. The location was not bad. Walkable to the town square / church.

Beautiful hotel on a previous hacienda

This hotel was very beautiful, a Salvadoran gem! A beautiful view of the lake from the restaurant! We also loved the appetizer we ordered: fried yucca with cheese inside. The restaurant staff was very nice and helpful, the receptionist for the hotel seemed kind of annoyed we were there but it didn’t take away from our stay. I would recommend this lovely place for sure!

Even though I clarified exactly which room I wanted, that room wasn't available for me. Received an email stating i would have the specific room. Arrived and got a second rate room! Not pleased and I'll never go there again! This was my 3rd visit.

The property needs painting to make it look more uplifting and somebody needs to take the cleaning of the rooms more seriously specially the bathroom and in particular the shower. I used sandals to go in the shower because it wasn't clean.
