Good hotel in a sad neighborhood. If you do not have a car you are essentially limited to the hotel restaurant as the city of Su'ao offer limited options for dining as a family. Similarly, it is hard to enjoy the Yilan region as the public transit options are not frequent and require extreme planning to go around. That said the hotel itself has great staff, a wonderful breakfast buffet and is overall a good place to be. My only gripe is the design of the bathrooms that is annoying when traveling as a family that is neither Japanese nor Finnish and do not practice nudity as a group. Would have been fine, had we traveled as a couple. Bedding and all other amenities were great.

Our check in experience was very good. Language didn't proved to be sent problem. Thank God. However the ALCO promo was an absolute disaster. Food was awful. Selection of alcohol, very poor! A cheap offer didn't mean list inclusions!

Nice view to the harbor and sun rise

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Beds are clean. Bathroom wore off a little bit due to normal use of hot spring and cold spring water. The spring water is orange-brown color with mild scent. The view to the harbor is quite nice. Overall speaking, a nice stay.
