Not what you expect from a Marriott overall. The hotel is modern but seems to be missing something. The rooms are small but have a large TV. Not much consideration is give to platinum members. It is like your loyalty to the brand means nothing while your staying here. The staff is very nice and do what they can within their capabilities. It not sure if I would stay here again in the future.
The service during our stay has been excellent. Very nice small bar area to relax and unwind. Food was very good in the bar. We did not eat in the restaurant. Breakfast was also very good. Staff and service has been outstanding. Great stay.
Good business location, a short train ride from Stuttgart, clean, a special offer that made it worthwhile. I would not stay there again however due to the unshakable feeling that I was in suburban Ohio or Illinois rather than in culture-rich Germany. It was an alienating experience. Having said that, the breakfast is OK, staff are professionally agreeable, and the pool is pleasant. You have to walk approx. 15 minutes to get to train station or the sweet little town centre where you can find a variety of restaurants. In this way my review balances out to "average".
I can accept that the onsite underground parking is under construction (Jan 2018). What I cannot accept is the utter lack of alternatives provided by the hotel staff. Here is a simple set of ideas: 1. shuttle back and forth to the parking lot which is a 5 minute walk. 2. provide umbrellas for when it is raining and clients have to hoof it to their car 5 minutes away. 3. tell clients up front that this is the situation. I expect more from a Marriott - even if it requires improvisation on the part of the local management.
Arrived in the evening during heavy rain. The underground parking lot is under renovation with the alternate lot hard to find in the dark and a long wet trek in the rain was very cold, wet, and annoying. Getting to the car in business attire the next day during more rain no fun. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Food here is good, but breakfast expensive at 23 euros. Water in the room nice and hot, shower really nice. Some have said the rooms are small, I was very satisfied. Everyone speaks English. Would be better without the construction and the rain. Might try this again in the summer.
Bang in the middle of a Business district! Comfortable stay with excellent TV for those who would prefer to laze on the bed :) Huge King size bed for company and an admirable bar counter made it a memorable experience. There is a shopping mall nearby for those addicted to Shopping Devilry. Beautiful Serene outskirts to take a walk & relax.
We stayed here for one night on the final night of our European vacation. We liked this hotel. The rooms were nice and new but a little small for Marriott. The staff is definitely what made me rate this excellent. They were all so kind and accommodating. The gentleman at the front desk recommended restaurants in town that were superb. Laura in the Executive Lounge was so friendly. We had a car and the garage parking was super easy. 15 min easy drive to airport, very convenient. Not a good choice if you want something close to the city center in Stuttgart but it was perfect for our stay!
I stayed here for three nights and was very comfortable. My room was quite spacious as there were three of us staying there. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were to kind and very quick to give my family and I helpful tips to get around the city. Also, breakfast was very good!
The staff for the most part was excellent, were helpful with every aspect and when a mistake was made they did what they could to make the correction. The food was not that great at all, and overprice
Lovely hotel, great service and very friendly. It's quite far from the city centre of that's where you need to be. But otherwise it's everything that you would expect from a Marriot except from small bathrooms which is not uncommon in Europe..
