we had a wonderful stay at Stuttgart Marriott - the rooms were fantastic. Service was great throughout the hotel starting with the manager Maged who was responsible, responsive and very helpful, to all the front desk reps we interacted with, to executive lounge staff, to housekeeping (Marta). When we came, everything was setup and ready just the way we needed, which makes a huge difference after traveling the whole day with kids. The pool is also great.
Renovating the hotel while keeping it open and not telling your customers upfront is not good practice. I received an email the garage would be closed and they had an alternative 400m away, a few days before my arrival. Too late to make any other arrangements, when I complained the reaction was that I could cancel free of charge. Upon arriving it turned out also the lobby and the bar were refurbished. The was now located in de breakfast area. This is the second this happens to me in a Marriott, good reason to avoid the chain, and this hotel in particular. What an arrogance!!
I stayed here at the Stuttgart Marriott for 3 days in March 2018. I would have normally given a Marriott a better rating, but this one had there garage being under constructions for the entire month and you had to walk 7-10 minutes down the street to get back to the hotel...they will let you park on the sidewalk of the hotel for loading and unloading, but after that you must move your car. If it's raining or cold winds blowing that 7-10 walk feels like 20 minutes and you are just drained. The hotel states it's only a 4 minute walk, but unless you are 25 and younger it's longer than a 4 minute walk. During the last day of my stay the fire alarm went off and everyone was forced to leave the building, but if you are still in a dead sleep at 0730 you cannot just jump out of bed when you hear the alarm. One good thing I can say about the restaurant is that I had one of the best meals there in the restaurant, the prime rib w/bone and roasted garlic cloves was awesome.
Stayed here for a business trip with a total of 8 guests for 6 nights. Parking was unavailable because it was being renovated. Other parking is 400meters away, without valet parking or shuttle service. After a long journey and -12 outside temperature that was a very unhospitable welcome. Hotel looks dated. Checkin took 20 minutes per room. Room temperature was 26 degrees (outside temp -12) and reception told me there is no way to change that. Every order for drinks at the lounge bar had at least two mistakes (large beer instead of small, no gin in gin and tonic, etc). Rooms were clean, carpet everywhere was not so clean. Executive lounge looked like an emptied out nineties office with too little seats. Breakfast was extremely basic. Room near elevator was noisy: guests meet at the elevator and the elevator noise is disturbing. We paid up to €500,- per night for a room and breakfast was not even included. Check out took even longer than check in.
Fantastic short stay destination on the outskirts of Stuttgart Staff are the friendliness I have come across and nothing is to much trouble from reception to bar all are fantastic Credit where credit is due. Well done
great hotel in sindelfingen....we only stayed one night but the room was very clean and comfortable with the necessary amenities. The hotel bar does light meals if you're feeling peckish in the afternoon... I highly recommend the Steakhouse restaurant as we had one of the best steaks ever!...the whole meal including the wine list was excellent. Worth a stay...
Great hotel with Lounge, very attentive personal and modern rooms. Checkin was very quick and friendly and the steakhouse restaurant in the hotel was also very good with a great waiter. We had some Cocktails at the bar and a very friendly barkeeper. Great experience at all. If you are planning to stay there I can fully reccommend to do so. In case you are without a car be sure that it is not in the city and you will either have to walk 15 - 20 minutes or take a taxi, also you should consider to take a taxi if you Need to get to the tram/rail station. It was great and I will stay again - thanks for the great weekend :-)
Not what you expect from a Marriott overall. The hotel is modern but seems to be missing something. The rooms are small but have a large TV. Not much consideration is give to platinum members. It is like your loyalty to the brand means nothing while your staying here. The staff is very nice and do what they can within their capabilities. It not sure if I would stay here again in the future.
The service during our stay has been excellent. Very nice small bar area to relax and unwind. Food was very good in the bar. We did not eat in the restaurant. Breakfast was also very good. Staff and service has been outstanding. Great stay.
Good business location, a short train ride from Stuttgart, clean, a special offer that made it worthwhile. I would not stay there again however due to the unshakable feeling that I was in suburban Ohio or Illinois rather than in culture-rich Germany. It was an alienating experience. Having said that, the breakfast is OK, staff are professionally agreeable, and the pool is pleasant. You have to walk approx. 15 minutes to get to train station or the sweet little town centre where you can find a variety of restaurants. In this way my review balances out to "average".
