Very dissapointing service attitude. We were part of a group which had a buffet service for dinner. First when we came exactly on time, the restaurant was not ready. When we came back later, we only got left overs. Three out of four choices of the main course were gone, no replenishment service. When we finally were able to order drinks, we were told to immediately pay them, not at the end of the meal. As a hotel guest and Accor member, I do not appreciate such behaviour. I asked for the manager. But he did not feel it necessary to turn up. Good service starts with the management. Bad service equally.
This Hotel is neither really bad nor really good. It is an average hotel in an not very interesting location. The rooms are kind of darkish as there is no roof light in the room. It is 90s style furnitured. No fitness room although there is a sauna. The restaurant is quite expensive for the medium quality it delivers. Service was not very attentive but neither really bad. The whine is too expensive, 5 Euro per 0,1 l, above German standard. Breakfast is ok, better than I expected compared to dinner.
I'm almost done with my stay here and got to say that its an absolutely wonderful hotel. I'm on a business visit. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Has good facilities. Queen sized bed, sofa, table, TV, refrigerator, lock safe and a bathtub. Its near to the Goldberg train station (it takes about 20 mins by walk) and nearby the Breunningerland mall and a McD. The staff are very helpful and the hotel is well maintained. Definite recommend!
I stayed at the hotel for a swim workshop in October 2017 and didn't really expect much. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the restaurant (excellent local wines and food) and by the breakfast buffet. All in all, a very positive experience!
The hotel in general is good but there are things that can be improved like the housekeeping service, the attention in general, the beds and some other minor details which will make it a much better hotel. But I have to say one of the receptionists (Carolina Supper) is the best. Really helpful and always friendly.
We work in Sindelfingen on long extended stays, so I'm fairly familiar with this hotel. Service has always been good in my opinion, and Lisa at the front desk is more than willing to accommodate us. All the associates are courteous and helpful for the record. The restaurant is good, and the service is solid. Veronika does a great job with taking care of us at the bar and restaurant. Their käse späetzel (my spelling is probably wrong) is delicious, and the grilled chicken is good with it. Their turkey breast is also a good option. The wifi is usually sufficient, but depending on how many people are there, it can get slow at times. There is outdoor seating as well as a sauna and pool. You can request for a small refrigerator if needed, but they don't always come in the room. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning is ok unless the days get really warm. You are convenient to several restaurants in the Sindelfingen area, and the mall is about a 10 minute walk away. The A8 is just beside you, and the train station is about a half mile beyond the mall. Parking is good here also and it's generally safe from what I can tell. The breakfast is good, with a lot of selections. It's just across from a paved path for walking or a bike ride. You can see some beautiful forest area if you're willing to walk about a mile! It is about a 20 minute drive from Stuttgart Airport, and the average price to catch a cab to the hotel from Stuttgart is roughly 37-40€.
This year I stayed at this hotel for the second time during my visist to Stuttgart for the GOC dancechampionship. This hotel provides a comfortable stay with swimming pool, sauna and good food, ideal location near main roads at a good distance from Stuttgart. Although the highway is close to the hotel inside you don't notice it. The staff of the hotel is friendly and holds the service in high esteem.
In my recent stay for business in the Baden-Wuttenburg area I stayed at the Mercure hotel. A great point to mention is the ample amount of parking available which in Germany is a rare gem. The hotel also boasts a fantastic breakfast variety and a cosy restaurant. Hotel is nicely situated, large shopping mall about 5 min away by foot and it has access to a beautiful forest just opposite it. Really enjoyed the stay in this hotel and will return!
Room rates were very high for what we received in regards to atmosphere. We were a captive audience for an adjacent trade show. Don't get me wrong location was directly next to the Messe Sindelfingen and that was a plus! The front desk staff were helpful. The rooms are clean but very uninspiring. Dark dark dark! Bathrooms were outdated. Bed felt like I was spending time in a hostel. Breakfast buffet was quality and restaurant staff were friendly. Large variety of foods to choose from. Be prepared to pay for parking every night you stay in the lot.
Stayed at the hotel several times. It has good facilities and the staff is very service oriented and nice. The restaurant has a wide and good selection of food and wine. The food is well prepared. The rooms are clean and quiet. The air conditioning could however be improved
