Although quite short, I appreciated my stay. I should have studied the itinerary from Stutgart HBF better, as it's probably possible to reach the hotel by public transport ( not Walking I think).personnel quite friendly an helpful. Proximity of quite good restaurant "Madagascar"
Excellent reception service, Rooms are very comfortable, Breakfast is good with enough variety. Parking facilities are very handy. Good for both business or holiday as there are variety of restaurants around
My son and I stayed here for one night. It costs approximately 35 euros from the airport by taxi but the train station is less than 100 meters from the hotel, if you want to come that way. The staff speak good English. The rooms are basic , no safe, just German channels on the TV, no tea and coffee making facilities (but there is a hair dryer), just basic soap in the bathrooms and showers. There was air conditioning in the room but it wasnt really up to the job. I thought breakfast was expensive for the very average experience we had. The fruit salad was a day past its best at least. There is a choice of scrambled egg and bacon or cold ham and cheese with fruit and a waffle station. The hospital is 200 meters up the hill. There is a very good icecream parlour in the square next door and a burger king & chicken shop. We were unable to spot anywhere else easy to eat. There is also a supermarket in the square. Overall its was adequate for what we needed it to be which was clean and near the hospital. I would probably stay here again but only for the location.
The hotel room was clean, well located for the subway and a 10-15 minute walk to the main square. All friendly staff. Plenty of car parking for a €8 daily charge. Rooms are pretty basic but did a job for 2 nights.
Stayed here for the first time and really liked it. Hotel is clean and offers nice breakfast. While it has no restaurant there is a lot of choice nearby and a grocery directly behind it. Close to the U. Only drawback is there are no safes in the rooms.
A particular thanks to JESSA at the reception who make stay wonderfull byecaus eof her ability to communicate ((perfect english) and to find a good balance between service and customer entairtainments
The room was spartan in its decor and the bathroom was a strange pod-like fixture, but it was clean and comfortable. Traveling in Europe I have come to expect breakfast to be included, but it costs extra here, so I grabbed my breakfast at a bakery across the street. Parking, which is sometimes a great challenge was actually quite easy here, but did, of course, cost extra.
Expensive for this 2 star hotel and location, hotel tired looking and bed was soft, most likely needs replacing in my opinion the price was 100 Euros more than it should be for this kind of hotel, scrambled eggs very dry at breakfast
IBIS Stuttgart is a standard IBIS as far as the rooms are concerned, and that's okay: clean and functional room and bathroom pod. But the extras are the kind and efficient staff and the pleasant breakfast room. Breakfast was good as well. The hotel is situated at the Mariënplatz, a bit off city center, but a lively quarter. Supermarket right next door, always convenient. Prices are okay to Stuttgart standards.
I like IBIS and often stay in an IBIS hotel when possible. This IBIS hotel is locatet a litte bit outside what I would describe as "centrum". That said the U-bahn is very close and it takes one change to reach the city centre and railway station, and one change to reach the airport. Classic IBIS interior with comfy beds. Friendly staff in reception/bar. On arrival the maid had forgotten to refill the soap dispencer in the bathroom, on our second day she forgot our room completely... Several nice restaurant nearby.
