Property was exactly has advertised. Great location for those looking for secluded place to stay. Owner was very responsive! Check in was a breeze!!Cabin has large area for parking large boat. Great trail system for walking and kayaks right on river.

Perfect for a low key Girlsweekend

We stayed for a long weekend and we’re excited to see that it was so secluded and and had the up north cabin vibe. Everything was clean and had all the amenities we needed and more. The questions we asked the host were answered in a timely manor. The screened in porch got used the most and was nice getaway from the bugs. Nothing we didn’t like about it.

Lovely quiet cabin

We really enjoyed our stay and the property! It was gorgeous. Unfortunately it rained a lot but the cozy cabin was perfect for puzzling, playing games, and watching movies. Thank you for the accommodations.

Great experience in the outdoors. Saw a bald eagle, goldfinch, rose-breasted grosbeak, pileated woodpecker, nuthatch, another type of woodpecker and turkeys!

Nice calm and relaxing spot, not too far to food and trails. Nice walking tails on the property to help the dogs stretch their legs. The dogs loved it.

Perfect isolation

I wanted a cabin in the woods with no one else nearby and that's EXACTLY what this is! We enjoyed hiking the property and finding hidden gems like the tent near the river and peeping the gorgeous fall leaves changing. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

Lovely cabin in the woods

Lovely location. We enjoyed the short walk to the Kettle River. Cabin had all the creature comforts needed. Close enough for a day trip to the north shore. Locks need to be updated for security. Strong musky smell each time we entered the cabin after it had been closed up for a bit and required airing out.

Quiet Wooded Seclusion

Very nice cabin tucked away in wonderful seclusion. The porch is a sublime place to listen to the sounds of the forest without worrying about clouds of mosquitoes or biting flies. We had a great time and everything was as advertised. Single bathroom and lack of a dishwasher may limit the enjoyment for some parties, but suited us just fine. The only real downside was that the riverbank was pretty steep and had a lot of vegetation so wasn't really an option for swimming or playing in the water.

Secluded week

Everything about this place was so nice and secluded. So many of the decorations brought us back to the nineties, eighties and seventies. We spent the days traveling and the evenings and mornings watching the wild life and birds from the screened porch. Definitely suggest.

Cabin Weekend With Friends

We had a wedding to attend a few miles away at Doc’s. This was the perfect cabin for a few friends to be together for the wedding weekend. There were mosquitos, but they were well stocked with extra bug spray. We enjoyed the grill, as well as, the kitchen. The bathroom was a little small, but functional. The living spaces and the screen porch were bigger than expected based on the photos which was a pleasant surprise. Chad communicated well and was a wonderful host. Overall this was the perfect cabin in the woods.
