The bedrooms consist of a double with en-suite shower room and a twin serviced by a bathroom. Outside there is off-road parking for two cars, a gravelled, front garden with furniture and rear lawn with patio furniture. Within 1.4 miles there is a shop and 0.6 miles a pub. One dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, starter for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The Nook is an idyllic setting for a family getaway to Gloucestershire.

It is located in the middle of the Cotswolds Way National Trail on a hill overlooking one of the Five Valleys in the Stroud area. It has a popular golf course on the outskirts of town and is home to a cricket and rugby team. The Royal Oak is a local watering hole known for its traditional fare, homely fireplaces, and outdoor courtyard. The village store is located directly across from the bar. The Painswick Beacon is only a twenty-minute stroll from the centre of the village, and it offers breath-taking panoramas of Gloucester, the River Severn, and the Malvern Hills.
