The staff were welcoming and friendly on check in and at breakfast. The room was dated and is in need of a major upgrade. The bathroom sealant, taps, sink and flooring were old and in poor condition. The room was comfortable enough for a 1 night stay, carpet felt tired and dusty and the TV belonged in a museum. I would not stay again unless it was refurbished. The breakfast was excellent and the lady serving had excellent customer service.

Helpful staff. Great evening meal . Room small with no air con or fridge . Arrived for air show in Fairford but missed breakfast as it didnā€™t start until 8.30 Sam . Couldnā€™t even leave is milk and cereal for 7.15 am . Not impressed . Place locked up when we left so left key in door . Not impressed

Great old inn, friendly staff, great locally sourced homemade food, clean and comfortable room... a very pleasant place to stay when I'm working in the area. Hopefully the new owners will build on this, because I'd rather like to stay here again!

Fantastic breakfast!!!

Comfortable room with use of a private balcony. Olde Worlde, but very comfortable. I must say that the cooked English breakfast was up there with (if not the best) Iā€™ve ever had.

I stayed here for four nights as I was participating in a course which was under a mile away. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. The food was excellent. I would stay here again if I was in the area.
