We found this hotel ideally situated for an overnight stop in Strasbourg with the car parking included. The staff here were very friendly and helpful, taking time to point out the best routes around the city, and having the patience to let us practice our slightly broken French on them! Very good value for seeing the city, and only a couple of minutes away from the nearest tram stop (which is also very reasonably priced) - would certainly stay here again :-)
Loved this hotel. Since I was driving, loved the gated, private parking. Short and very nice walk to the town centre. Room was great; the restaurant served wonderful food and the service was 2nd to none. The front desk was super helpful.
It is practical. Walking distance from tram and bus. Free garage, if you have a car. Staff friendly and professional. The breakfast offers better choices than other Comfort hotels. Nice quite terrace The restaurant offers good choices of local dishes, choucroute, etc..Local beer and wine. The prices were very reasonable. Rooms are small, especially for North Americans where they are usually bigger, with AC and bigger bathrooms.
Car park not large enough for everyone. Room was small and bathroom even smaller, barely space to fit in. No air conditioning and on a hot night needed to open window but the noise from the motorway only yards away kept us awake. Only the cheap deal I got made this acceptable.
We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times. The staff are very welcoming, answering any query and always making a point of saying hello. The hotel location allows a short walk to the city centre, perfect. Hotel room is clean and perfect for overnight stop. We ate dinner in the restaurant, again, staff very welcoming, food lovely, wide variety of food on the menu. Car parking is available at the hotel, free of charge. Thank you for a great stay.
We stayed one night. The welcome was good and price very reasonable. Room was OK if a bit small. Staff were very pleasant and the hotel environment clean and well set out. Travel to city centre easy by tram from nearby stop. WiFi was reasonably fast. Breakfast at 10€ was good but expensive.
We had a nice twin room the staff are really friendly and so helpful it's got on sit car parking always a bonus they have a good restaurant with nice food I had the sausage with sour kraut it was my first time I found it tasty the breakfast was all you need eggs pastry bread cold meats cheese and cereals I would stay again
As a disclaimer we did not pay the full rack rate, we had a discounted rate via Booking.com. The location is great, quiet suburban area, lots of parking but still only 15 mins walk into the old city centre. Staff were very friendly and spoke several languages. Rooms were clean and comfortable and had a TV, kettle and hairdryer and were good value considering the room rate. A fan or airconditioner would have been lovely but with the window open it was still a comfortable temperature. Breakfast is good and worth the EUR10. Dinner at the attached restaurant was also good (though if you have a spare evening go to Limoncello at 29 route des Romains, its about a 20 min walk).
We stayed here on our way back home to the UK. It is brilliant value for money and the room even had a kettle and biscuits which you don't often find on the continent. The room was clean and sweet and the staff were just the friendliest ever. We didn't eat at the hotel but instead decided to walk into town. There is a walking path alongside the river on the next road from the hotel and it seemed like a lovely idea after nine hours in the car. However, you can hardly see the river, the walkway is in places deserted and dark (under bridges) and there are homeless people living in tents alongside the path. As you get a little closer to town we had to walk through what looked like a council estate with youngsters sitting on benches drinking beer and there was no way that I would walk back to the hotel that way in the dark. It felt really uncomfortable so we took a taxi back from the old town centre and that worked a treat. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as we had a really early start but I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone and I would definetly stay here again. The hotel is about half an hour walk to the city centre
A good value hotel with the following- Upside - the all important parking, friendly & helpful staff, the buffet breakfast, just off motorway & 20 minute walk to the historic city centre. Downside - lack of air conditioning in the room when it's 30c+ outside, small rooms & bathrooms.
- Close to Covered Bridge
- Free WiFi in rooms and public areas
- Free parking
- Onsite dining
